BRAHMS & DVORÁK: TWO OLD FRIENDS “Dvořák is, for me, along with Brahms, the most outstanding musician...” − Hans von Bülow Their friendship began when Brahms, already a renowned composer, used his influence to secure for Dvořák a composition prize. This early recognition blossomed into welcome success and in following years Brahms became both friend and mentor to the Czech composer. Join Music Director Miguel Harth-Bedoya and the FWSO as we explore the works of two great composers and friendly colleagues – Johannes Brahms and Antonin Dvořák.
