*For these yachts the following seasons apply:

Mid-Season: May 1st - June 14th and Sept 16th - Oct 31st

SAILING YACHTS

If the yacht is chartered from a location other than the home port, the charter is subject to a relocation fee.

Relocation Fees (Greece)

Catamarans up to 52 ft: Cyclades (1000 EUR) **

Catamarans 55ft and up: Cyclades (1500 EUR) **

Catamarans 80 ft, Motor yachts and power catamarans according to fuel consumption.

** Please note due to logistics, charters with embarkation or disembarkation in Santorini will be charged one extra day.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Charter Rates:

All charter rates are weekly rates quoted in EURO and are plus all expenses (VAT and APA). Brokers commission is 15%.

Embarkation times:

Embarkation and disembarkation are usually 12:00 to 12:00. Alternative times can be arranged subject to yachts availability before and after the charter. Please enquire should you have a special request.

Included in charter rates:

The Charter Fee includes the charter of the vessel with all its equipment in working order; tools; cleaning materials and basic consumable stores for engine room, deck, galley and cabins; laundry of ship’s linen; the crew’s wages, uniform and food; the insurance of the Vessel and crew.

Not Included:

The Charterer will pay for all other expenses. These include, but are not limited to, shore side transport for guest party, fuel for the main engines and generators; fuel for tenders and water sports equipment; food and beverages for the Charterer’s Party; berthing fees and other harbour charges, divers’ fees, customs formalities and any charges for waste disposal, charges for water and electricity taken from shore; ships’ agents’ fees where applicable; personal laundry; Charter Party communications including internet use (if not included in the charter fee), and hire or purchase costs of any special equipment placed onboard at the Charterer’s request.

APA:

Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) is an advance payment required to be made to fund estimated boarding costs of the cruise and is used to cover the costs of yacht preparation, requested supplies, port, mooring, diesel and fuel, communications, crew gratuities, extras and depends on guest particular requests for services, itinerary, food, beverages etc. In case APA is not entirely used during the cruise, the remaining balance is returned to the charterer at the end of the trip. Any outstanding accounts will be settled with the captain onboard and in cash prior to disembarkation. In case clients receive an A.P.A. refund, this will be wired on the first business day following the Charterer’s disembarkation. The APA expenses can be viewed online at any time during the cruise. The link for the APA will be sent with the boarding instructions. APA varies from 20% to 40% depending on the yacht.

VAT:

VAT (Value added tax) in Greece varies from 5,2% till 13% depending on the yachts’ category. If any changes in VAT occur prior to the commencement of the charter, the balance will be paid by the charterer or credited to the same.

Payment terms:

50% of the charter fee is due upon signing of the agreement. Balance of 50% + VAT + APA to be paid one month prior to embarkation to the stakeholder’s account. Should the charterer request alternative payment terms please contact our office.

Itineraries:

All itineraries are suggested and subject to weather and sea conditions and approval from the captain at the time of the charter. The Charterer acknowledges that he/she has been informed and understands the weather patterns and marine conditions that may affect the Charter and does not hold the stakeholder or broker liable for any complaints or additional costs that may be incurred as a result of these issues. Even though every reasonable effort will be made by the captain to keep the originally specified ports of embarkation and disembarkation, weather conditions might prevail. In this case neither owner, broker or Stakeholder are held liable.
