To enter the Restaurant, visitors must circulate around the back of the building via a steep, elevated landform: creating a more dynamic experience and a more conscious threshold between the natural and constructed worlds.

Theorizing •

A tantelising structure of pure, overlapping geometry invites tourists, residents, and arts enthusiasts alike to enter and explore, as they form new poignant connections with the water and surrounding landscape.

Landscaping plays a large role in the harmonising the building and the site. A semi-circular walled corridor, inspired by the ripples of water, frames the sculptures within the setting.

Considered an extension of Arts Precinct

Detached toilet block allows for increased public space activation within the surrounding outdoor spaces

Boats moored at jetty for ease of public access during operational hours

Semi-circular jetty a reflection of Sculpture Garden corridor. Connects to main structure as well as views towards existing sculpture on opposite side of river.
