Rowlinson are one of the largest and most successful school wear manufacturers in the UK. As a family business they pride themselves on care, values and ethics. Rowlinson have been in business in the UK since 1935. They only source the best fibres and fabrics for their garments which are manufactured to the highest standards.

Blue Max Banner have been an integral part of the schoolwear industry since they began trading over two decades ago. Every schoolwear item is presented in a huge choice of colours and sizes, available from stock, all year round. Still a majority owned family business, Blue Max Banner continues to thrive and provide us with quality, affordable school uniform solutions. Beau Brummel is a successful branch of Blue Max Banner. They pride themselves on offering a full range of products, providing customers with school-wear solutions for the past 26 years.
Falcon Sportswear Ltd. have been supplying quality, durable sportswear to the trade for over 35 years. They pride themselves on their developing range of items and an ability to meet the majority of unique customer needs. They also have an inspiring Ethical-trading policy.

Relationship with our Schools is important to us. We strive to be the best at what we do and that includes building good, solid relationships with all of the schools we collaberate with.

7 Working With You
We are one of the only school uniform suppliers to take the personal approach. We begin by meeting with the school and discussing their needs and wants. We then provide them with personalised sample items of clothing with their chosen colour scheme and embroidery.

Working With You
After the school is happy with their samples we let them trial the uniform, washing and wearing it to ensure durability and peace of mind. Providing the items are of the best quality we then put the wheels in motion and begin production of a range of uniform items, every one unique to each individual school.
9 Our Hereford Shop
Once the uniform is made and embroidered to the highest standard, it is then sent to our shop in the heart of Hereford to be sold to parents from across Herefordshire. We also stock a full range of stationery, name tapes, plain blouses, shirts and skirts and trousers for all your school uniform needs.

Free schoolwear for children in need
We know that in this expensive world, buying school uniform can feel impossible, especially when you have had a family emergency or disaster. Tailoring to suit your needs
We realise kids come in all shapes and sizes. Although we stock the full size ranges from our suppliers, sometimes some adjustments may be needed for the perfect fit. Mrs C and her skilled tailoring team can carry out alterations and repairs at very reasonable prices. Nothing Goes To Waste
At The School Uniform Shop we are proud to say that nothing goes to waste. We have teamed up with the Gloag Foundation to send new and used schoolwear to disadvantaged children all over the world, from Africa to Europe. Here you can see some of the children who have benefitted from our school uniform.
Ethically Sourced

All of the brands we stock have taken the ethical initiative. Trutex works towards the ‘Ethical Trading Initiative Base Code’, whereby our supplying companies across the globe are required to be audited against a number of principals including working hours and child labour. This helps to ensure employees within supplying factories around the world enjoy excellent working conditions in a clean, safe environment accompanied by a fair income.
Blue Max Banner, Beau Brummel, Falcon and Rowlinson also all have steps in place to ensure all their garments are ethically sourced. No child labour is used, working conditions in overseas factories are safe and clean, wages are within the industry and/or country norm and the working hours are not excessive.
