THE NEED

As the Gallatin area continues to evolve, we realize the need for more spaces in which collaboration, connection, and community can happen. Already, the Chamber produces 200+ events each year. At the current time, all of these events occur outside of our office due to space limitations. When taking events offsite, the Chamber is often challenged with transporting materials, higher supply and labor cost, and ultimately, the disconnect that comes from leaving the collaborative space in which we work and gather Quite often, opportunities are missed for our members to share space together, connect with all on our team, and learn from each other while connecting with other offerings of our organization The desire to bring our community closer together is a high priority

THE SOLUTION

Having a larger, collaborative space will allow us to not only bring the majority of our programs, services, and events “in house”, but also allow a space for our members and community members to further connect with not only us, but each other With our calendar planned 6-12 months in advance, we will have a clear view of availability for the space in “off” times. During those times, we plan to allow the space to be open to member businesses, aspiring entrepreneurs, and even makers, creatives, and other organizations looking for a space to call home until they identify one solely theirs This will allow us to live out our mission to serve as the lead convener in the Gallatin area.

THE VISION

The Station is the leading initiative of the Gallatin Chamber Foundation while receiving support from the Chamber. This project will allow the Gallatin Area Chamber to be the first and one stop for all business needs within the Gallatin area, fulfilling the vision to be the primary resource for business over the next 100 years and beyond. The collaborative efforts and community that will be created within the space will help us continue to be the catalyst for community development, while offering a space for innovation to take flight Long term, the space will allow us to honor the Gallatin Area Chamber’s long-standing legacy of connecting business to community while preparing for the future - businesses to come, evolving technology, later leaders - all right at the entryway to Sumner County’s seat and Gallatin’s historic downtown square, on the corner of commerce and community, at 117 West Main Street. The goal is to bring The Station to life and be fully operational by quarter two of 2024.

BECOME A PARTNER

The Station is expected to come to life within 12-18 months. The Gallatin Area Chamber and Chamber Foundation will be the anchor tenant in the space, occupying over 5,200 square feet, with opportunities for future growth. While build out and supply costs are fluid, the Chamber anticipates needing $800,000 - $900,000 for the first ten year period. The Chamber would like to transition into the space with it being fully operational, equipped to meet all current and near future needs for both the Chamber team and members, and with the peace of mind that monthly overhead is covered for at least a decade. We invite you to help us champion this mission and partner with us as we bring the Gallatin community closer together at The Station.
