he Karnataka government was in a hurry to catch the bus! Or, so it seems. To catch up with the deadline of August 15, 2017, for the inaugural of the canteens by Mr. Rahul Gandhi, there were many points which were left out due to improper planning. Having breakfast, lunch or dinner at a meager Rs. 10/- is something many people would relish eating. The reception that it has got is that the quality of the dishes served is indeed good, which is a merit so far as the scheme is concerned. On August 16, of the 198 canteens, 101 canteens were opened and the rest will be opened soon as each one of them is in various stages of completion. Firstly, the quantum of preparation has been wrongly estimated as there are several people going back disappointed and dejected for not being served the breakfast and lunch at this economical rate. Having been

received exceptionally well by the people, the canteens were drawing flak from the very same people for not being served the dish due to short supply and the stock getting over in a jiffy. The food is centrally prepared and then sent to each of these outlets to be served. Not reaching on time is another factor which has not gone

well with the customers. The government should have started planning this much more in advance to save this embarrassment or put in place an alternative for any short supply of items wherein the quantity can be increased the next day. Alas! This was not to be! It is still an issue which is unsolved making the public

go dejected. A hue and cry was raised amid utter chaos during the initial days. Why could they not take care of this even after fortnight of opening, and just 101 outlets, not the entire 198 as announced? Secondly, time is an important factor which has to be given utmost priority. The canteens failed miserably in this aspect too putting the people to a lot of inconvenience. There are those early birds who need to have their breakfast early and speed to their respective jobs, travelling. The purpose is defeated if it does not reach on time for the public to make use of it. These canteens are largely for those who would think twice to have a costly food and as well would try to save that extra buck for the rainy day. Same is the case for lunch, since many office goers have only half an

hour for them to have a quick munch and get back to settle in their respective jobs. There is a respite for the customers of Indira Canteens. Mr. U T Khader, Minister of Food and Public distribution has said on August 31, that the canteens would soon cater to around 1500 customers daily as against 900 as on today, at the rate of 300 each for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The situation should be better than the existing, but since when will this happen is the question mark? But, this statistics given is found wanting as the crowd seen at the canteens are definitely more than what is been said. Racing against the deadline, the government has erred on these factors. Thirdly, residents from many areas have alleged that the canteens have and are being built on BBMP premises nevertheless, but on premises earmarked for playgrounds, temples and parks. Can the term

‘usurping’ the properties of the earmarked ones be wrong? Many cases have been observed that trees have been cut. The latest victim being a small park in BTM layout II stage! Construction of a canteen in this park means half of the ling space is lost almost choking the park. Though the authorities deny the fact, the construction of a building in the aftermath of chopping a tree clearly indicates that it was indeed making way for the canteen. This is case of sheer callousness and obstinacy on the part of the government agencies. Wonder how many more of these open spaces and greeneries will be sacrificed? On the whole, the government has done a lot of good in giving tasty food at this economical rate. In fact, many people who could afford much higher rates for the same were found queuing up for the token. This is a feather in the cap! Indira Canteens are Welcome.

he festive season has started with the advent of Vinayaka Chathurthi or ‘Ganesha Habba’ as it is referred to locally. The son of Goddess Parvathi, Ganesh, the Elephant faced, is Author of Maha Bharatha, as universally known. He is the Deity of Knowledge, whose name shall always occur first before starting anything. His name Ganeshaya Namaha is first written and then only starts the other rituals. The good beginning shall always have good end too. The Residents Welfare Association of Balaji Layout, as usual, celebrated Ganesha Habba with fervor adding more to it than usual. The association has till now been celebrating this festival with all piousness and zeal every year after the formation of the association. It has not missed a single opportunity to celebrate, starting with a humble beginning 5 years back. This time around a big pandal was erected which was water proof, which could withstand the rain that lashed the city recently. A huge Idol of Lord Ganesha was the Deity patronized by not only the

residents of Balaji layout, of which yours truly is also a resident, but even residents from the adjacent localities like AECS layout and Subhashnagar attended the Puja ritual daily. Besides, residents of the surrounding apartments were seen regularly at the pandal and offering prayers to the Lord of the House. The association led by Mr. Raju, Mr.

Dhariyappa, Mr. Ramesh, was ably assisted by Mr. Kuberappa, Mr. Sebastian, Mr. Mahesh, Mr. Jo Jo, Ms Gulshan Ara, Mr. Hamid and many others making this not limiting to one tradition, culture or religion but all joining hands together showing the power of unity. United we Win; Divided we Lose – is the message.

Rains provide Healthy Moisture to the Air In a month’s time, almost the entire state has witnessed 95% moisture adequacy thanks to heavy rain in August and cloud-seeding experimentsReeling under severe drought for almost three consecutive years, the whole of Karnataka was literally parched. The intensity of the scorching heat was such that the entire state never attained the ‘healthy’ moisture adequacy index. “Meteorologically, it is important to have considerable quantity of moisture in soil especially if you are talking about agriculture. Moisture does not increase with just one or two rains but with continuous rains. The entire month of August has reported incessant rains in almost all areas of Karnataka and enough water has dampened the soil making it apt for cultivation. Any crop will survive without water if there is a moisture level above 60 per cent.

A Master Stroke from Dhoni to silence Critics; Retirement? Still far Away

4

- T Ramesh

honi, 36, ensured that his batting and his keeping did the talking and added to it, his suggestions on the referrals which resulted in India’s favour took him a few notches above. He has played his 300th ODi during the 4th ODI at Colombo against Sri Lanka on 31st August. He is still the best finisher of the game today at 36 years of age, when cricketers would have retired some time ago in many parts of the world or those who are in the scene would be contemplating retirement. He has proved that time and again and the fans got to witness another couple of matches in the 2nd and 3rd ODI, where guided India to a facile win scoring half century and twice near half centuries. It is the manner in which he plays the game with a plan and phases the innings together to make things look simple. But, on the contrary, it is not as simple as it looks. When the chips were down and half the side back in the pavilion with a paltry score on the board, Dhoni had Bhuvaneshwar Kumar for company and made good work of him to accelerate, while he

himself preferred o play second fiddle only to ensure that he remains till the end to finish the game, come what may. Bhuvi got a half century in the match. Is it not the courage given by Dhoni which made a batsman out of Bhuvi? This was the second ODI. India was 4 for 61 when Mr. Dhoni walked into a tremendous applause.

Towing charges imposed on vehicles towed away by the traffic police for wrong parking

T

he HC refuses to direct government to reduce towing charges; boost for police as court will not interfere in matter The High Court has refused to interfere in the government’s decision to hike the towing charges imposed on vehicles towed away by the traffic police for wrong parking. It has said

that it is the prerogative of the legislative to decide what the fine amount will be. The wrong parking and towing charges collected by the Bengaluru traffic police has had an adrenaline boost since September 2016. In 2015, the total fine collected was Rs 1.9 crore. In 2016, the total traffic violation fines collected was Rs 67 crore and the towing charges were just over Rs 3 core out of that. Not surprisingly, Rs 2 crore out of that Rs 3 crore fine was collected in just three months, September 2016 to December 2016.

The amount of fine collected by way of towing charges in 2017 is to be seen to be believed. It has grown from Rs 1.3 crore in January to Rs 2 crore in June. The towing charges for two-wheelers were increased to Rs 650 and for cars to Rs 1,000 last September (from Rs 200 and Rs 300 respectively). Wrong parking charges remain Rs 100. So between January 2017 and July 2017 the government has made over Rs 12 crore in towing charges in Bengaluru, including the Rs 2 crore in the last three months of last year. The whole of 2016 yielded only Rs 3 crore. A public interest litigation was filed by a city resident, SP Ashwin Balaji, against the government seeking a direction that the towing charges for two-wheelers be reduced to Rs 200, which was the earlier fine for wrong parking and towing. The PIL also sought for declaring that the mandatory helmet rule for two-wheelers be made constitutionally void. The division bench of Chief Justice Subhro Kamal Mukherjee and Justice PS Dinesh Kumar, however, dismissed the PIL saying “we do not find any merit in this writ petition as this court is not empowered to interfere with the legislative policy decision of the government.”

He justified this by scoring a half century partnering Rohit Sharma who scored a century in the match. Again, he finished the matched remaining not out. His innings was poised and secured in the sense that one could easily feel the assurance given by him that “I am there till the end and will finish the game”. That was his body

language. India did not lose a wicket thereafter and finished scoring 218 runs. Cometh the fourth ODI, which was a milestone for Dhoni, who joined those few members of the elite club of cricketers who have represented the country in 300 or more ODI matches, which is in no way an easy accomplishment. His hard work and perseverance has paid off. The entire team paid rich tributes to the senior pro on this occasion and one wanted to know the fate of the outcome of his contribution in this match. It is said Dhoni never disappoints. Kohli during his speech on this occasion said “you will always remain our captain”, presenting him with a platinum plated bat, he added, “90 percent of us started our careers under you, it is an honour to present you this memento” As is his wont, he did not disappoint even in this match. Though the match had good number of contributions from Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who both got centuries, India were 5 down for 274. This time having Manish Pandey as his partner, and rotating the strike to ensure he also get into runs,

Dhoni added 101 runs with him remaining unbeaten on a well made 49 runs, just falling short by a run to his half century. But, he gave an opportunity for Manish to get to his half century off the last ball and immediately patted him on the back for his effort. This is Dhoni, a selfless man. India scored 375 runs and skittled out Sri Lanka for 207 runs, winning the fourth match also gaining a lead of 4-0 in the five match ODIs. He still averages over 50 which is a superlative effort. Time and again, he has contributed and made his on field performances talk. Some people wanted his head for him to retire from the game. Still he is the fastest runner between the wickets. He has silenced the critics. Happy going, Dhoni! India still needs you, go ahead and contribute and try to win the next World Cup too.

Simple Yoga Asanas To Reduce Belly Fat An erroneous lifestyle, unhealthy eating habits, lack of exercise, and high stress levels – all of these give rise to a flabby tummy. The wider your abdomen, the higher is the level of risk. And, there are no shortcuts to get rid of abdominal fat. Proper diet, combined with a good fitness routine, can definitely help you reduce belly fat to a large extent. This is where yoga comes into play. It not only helps decrease abdominal fat, but also allows you to control your body and mind like never before! Tadasana (Mountain Pose) Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation) Padahastasana (Standing Forward Bend) Paschimottanasana (Seated Forward Bend) Pavanamuktasana (Wind Relieving Pose) Naukasana (Boat Pose) Ushtrasana (Camel Pose) Uttanpadasana (Raised Foot Pose) Marjariasana (Cow Cat Pose or Cat Pose) Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose) Dhanurasana (Bow Pose) Shavasana (Corpse Pose)Tadasana is an ideal warm-up pose. It improves the circulation of blood, thereby ensuring that your body is ready for the other poses in store. Benefits Improves your posture Firms the abdomen and buttocks Strengthens thighs, knees, and ankles Relieves sciatica (pain that affects the back, hips, and the outer side of the legs) Surya Namaskar is a confluence of twelve yoga positions, each of which has a major impact on the entire body. The forward and backward bends allow stretches, while the deep breathing performed during the act helps in detoxification. Practice Surya Namaskar daily in the morning, facing the sun, for reaping the maximum benefits.Stand with both your feet together, expand your chest, and relax your shoulders. As you inhale, lift both your arms from the sides. And as you exhale, bring your arms to the front of your chest and keep them in the prayer position. Inhale, raise your hands, and stretch backwards. Exhale, bend forward, and try to touch your knees with your forehead. Bending your left knee, stretch your right leg backward, with your palms placed on the floor. Hold your breath and stretch your left leg as well. This is called the plank posture. Come down to the floor holding your spine out. Here, your knees, chest, and chin must be in contact with the floor. Inhale, stretch forward, and bend backwards. Keeping your hands fixed on the floor,

exhale and lean forward. As you inhale, bring your right leg forward, in between your elbows and stretch upwards. Bring your left leg forward and inhale deeply. Stretch back from the waist. Return to the initial position. The abdomen gets completely compressed while bending forward, which leads to burning of fat. Thus, the compression helps in toning down the tummy. How To Do Stand in the Tadasana pose, with your hands on either side of the body while your feet rest together, with the heels touching each other. Keep your spine erect. Inhaling deeply, lift your hand upwards. As you exhale, bend forward such that your body is parallel to the floor. Inhale, then exhale, and bend forward completely, with your body falling away from the hips. Try to touch the floor, with palms straight on the floor, and without bending your knees. Beginners can try touching the toes or just the ankles to start with, working your way to the floor. Holding your breath, tuck your tummy in, and hold the position for 60 to 90 seconds. Exhale, leave your toes, and lift your body to come back to the Tadasana pose. Repeat the asana 10 times, leaving an interval of 10 seconds between two repetitions. Padahastasana has variations in terms of holding your toes, placing your hands beneath the balls of your feet, or simply holding your ankles or shins. Benefits Improves digestion, as your abdominal muscles are toned Strengthens the wrist joints Relieves mental and physical exhaustion This is one of the basic poses of Hatha Yoga, and it stimulates the center of your solar plexus. Along with acting as a tummy toning pose, the forward bend also offers an admirable level of stretch to the hamstrings, thighs, as well as hips. It is also ideal for those who are prone to digestive disorders. How To Do Sit on the floor in Sukahasana or Padmasana. Keep your spine erect, and stretch your legs out to your front. Your feet should point to the ceiling. Inhaling deeply, stretch your hands above your head without bending your elbows. Your gaze should follow your hands. Stretch your spine to the maximum. Exhale, and bend forward from your thighs. Bring your hands down and try to touch your toes. Your head should rest on your knees. Beginners can try touching their ankles or just thighs as a starter.

Once you touch your toes, hold them and try pulling them backward till you experience the stretch on your hamstrings. Breathing in, hold your tummy, and try to retain the position for 60 to 90 seconds initially. Slowly, increase the time of holding the position for five minutes, or if possible, more. Exhaling, bring your body upward, relieving your toes from your fingers to come back to the Sukhasana or Padmasana pose. Repeat the asana 10 times to begin with, working up to 25 times or more. Benefits Relieves stress Helps in the reduction of fat in the abdomen Balances menstrual cycles This asana helps in alleviating various gastric problems, including indigestion and constipation. Since your knees exert pressure on your tummy, holding the position for more than a minute helps in triggering the burning of fat in the region. How To Do Lie down in the supine position (face upwards) with your arms beside your body and feet stretched out, heels touching each other. Bend your knees. Take in a deep breath, and as you exhale, gradually bring the bent knees towards your chest, with the thighs applying pressure on the abdomen. Hold the knees properly in place by clasping your hands underneath the thighs. Inhale again, and as you exhale, lift your head, allowing your chin to touch your knees. Hold the position for 60 to 90 seconds, while breathing deeply. Exhale slowly, and release your knees while allowing your head to rest on the floor. Bring your hands onto either side of your body, palms facing the ground. Relax in Shavasana. Repeat the asana 7 to 10 times, leaving a 15-second interval between repetitions. Benefits Strengthens the back and abdominal muscles Helps in digestion and release of gas Tones the muscles in the legs and arms Caution Pregnant women, people suffering from spinal problems, and people with blood pressure and heart issues

Email: gadencityplus2013@gmail.com

must refrain from performing this pose. This is one of the most sought after yoga postures that will guarantee you a flatter belly with regular practice. While holding the posture for more than a minute helps in contracting the abdominal muscles, the posture, when done in a boat-like movement, helps in toning your abs. How To Do Lie down on the yoga mat in the supine position, legs stretched out, toes facing the ceiling, and palms resting on either side of your body facing the ground. Inhale deeply. As you exhale, lift your body (the head, chest, and legs) from the ground. Stretch out your arms so that they form a parallel line with your legs. Your fingers should be in the same line as the toes. Gaze towards the toes. As you hold the position, you should feel the abdominal muscles contracting. Breathing normally, hold the posture for 30 to 60 seconds to start with. Inhale, and then exhaling deeply, slowly relax and come back to the supine position. Repeat this asana five times to begin with, working up to 30 times gradually. Relax for 15 seconds after each repetition. Benefits Strengthens the abdominal muscles and helps remove belly fat Improves the health of digestive organs Strengthens arms, thighs, and shoulders Caution People suffering from blood pressure issues, heart problems, diarrhea, headache, and insomnia must refrain from performing this pose. Also, pregnant and menstruating women must not practice this pose. This is normally done to counter the Naukasana pose. The backward stretch that you experience as you touch your ankles in this pose helps in toning the abdominal muscles. The tension experienced by your belly muscles during Naukasana will now be released, and at the same time, you will also enjoy a good stretch. How To Do Sit in Vajrasana. Slowly, lift your body from your knees such that you are now sitting with your whole body weight supported by your knees. Your heels should make a perpendicular line with the ground. Exhale deeply, and arch your back. Bring your hands behind your body, and try to hold your ankles, one by one. Tilt your head behind and stretch backwards, until you experience a stretch in your belly. Hold the posture for 20 to 30 seconds to begin with, working your way to 60

5

seconds, breathing normally. Exhale and slowly relax. Come back to Vajrasana. Repeat this asana five times to begin with, working up to 30 times gradually. Relax for 15 seconds after each repetition. Benefits Strengthens the back muscles Can improve posture Treats fatigue, menstrual discomfort, and mild back pain Caution People who suffer from heart-related ailments, lower back or neck injury, and high blood pressure must not perform this pose. Individuals who have migraine and insomnia must also refrain from performing this pose. This pose helps in getting rid of the fat from your lower abdominal region as well as hips and thighs. This pose is one of the most efficient and effective ways to eliminate the flab that gets accumulated around your waist and hips during pregnancy. How To Do Lie down on the mat with your back on the floor, legs stretched out, and heels touching each other. Keep your hands on either side of your body, palms facing the ground. Inhale deeply. Now, exhaling slowly, tilt your back while bringing your head backwards so that it touches the floor. Do not move your hands from their initial position. Breathe normally. Stretch to the maximum possible level, without hurting your back. Inhaling deeply, raise your legs from the floor, making a 45-degree angle with the floor. Hold the pose for 15 to 30 seconds, breathing normally. Slowly work to hold the posture for more than 60 seconds. Exhale deeply, and lift your legs so that they make a 90-degree angle with the floor. Breathing normally, hold the posture for 30 seconds. Inhaling deeply, gradually bring your legs back to the initial position – the supine position. Repeat this asana 10 times to begin with, working up to 30 times gradually. Relax for 15 seconds after each repetition. Benefits Treats stomach-related ailments like acidity and constipation Cures back pain Improves the functioning of reproductive organs Improves blood circulation Along with all these yoga poses for reducing belly fat, you should also concentrate on practicing healthy food habits. Plus, make sure that your body is getting adequate levels of sleep as studies have proven the negative impact of sleeplessness on your abdominal health.

Castor Oil For Treating Dandruff

Call Drop rate reduced by 8% in last year: Telecom Minister Manoj Sinha Call drop rate in the country has come down by 8% in the last one year and the target is to reduce it further by similar margin by this year-end, Telecom Minister Manoj Sinha said today. "Call drop has reduced by 8% so far since we held last review meet. We have set a target to reduce it by another 8 per cent by the end of this year," Sinha told reporters after the meeting on call drop issue. The minister said the last data released by regulator Trai as also the survey done by the Department of Telecom (DoT) through automated calls to public shows an improvement on the call drop front during the review period. "Even after necessary approvals from the government, telecom operators are unable to install mobile towers. They are not getting space to install mobile towers as required. DoT secretary and other department officials will coordinate with other government departments. The telecom minister held last meeting in July 2016 where telecom operators had set 100 days and 1 year plans for improvement in call drop issue.

One of the important constituents of castor oil, Ricinoleic acid, has antimicrobial properties, and this is what gives castor oil its property to kill bacteria that cause dandruff. The ricin present in the oil also has germicidal and fungicidal properties. These two protect the scalp from microbial and fungal infections leading to dandruff and scalp infections like seborrheic dermatitis. Castor oil is an excellent humectant, due to the high content of omega- 9 fatty acids. This oil can lock in moisture in hair and hence acts as an excellent hair conditioner. It is also great for treating split ends and making hair lustrous and silky. The moisturizing properties of omega- 9 fatty acids also help in fighting dry flakes and dandruff. Castor oil is loaded with nutrients such as minerals, omega- 6 fatty acids and vitamin E- all of which moisturize dry dandruff flakes and fight the itchy scalp syndrome. Tips For Castor Oil Use For Dandruff Cure: Castor oil can be applied directly on the scalp, or it can be mixed with lighter, hair- healthy oils like Jojoba and Olive for intensifying its benefits. Warming the oil and massaging your scalp with it is best for improving blood circulation, hair growth and reducing dandruff. Castor oil can be left overnight for maximum benefits,

or you could apply the oil about 20 minutes before a hair wash. It works either way, and it works wonders! Another way to benefit from the goodness of this oil is to add a small quantity of it to your conditioner. Miswak Fights Tooth Decay and Cavities

If you count yourself amongst one of the ‘unlucky’ ones or dread this ever happening to you, allow me to introduce you to your favorite new superhero.Miswak is a twig that helps in cleaning teeth and has been used for this purpose for over 7000 years now! (Faint recollections of people in rural areas with a ‘stick’ in their mouths early in the mornings? Yes, now you get it).Combining the functions of a toothbrush and toothpaste, Miswak’s antibacterial properties have saved many a people from cases of dreadful tooth decay and worse across the centuries. Reportedly, Miswak has been in use right since the time of the ancient Babylonians and Egyptians. Which would mean that this humble chew stick is older than Queen Cleopatra? Which in turn means that every time you use Miswak, you’d in fact be brushing with a piece of history! Using Miswak on Fridays, before and after going on journeys, before religious practices etcetera, is recommended by hadith, and is faithfully adhered to by millions of inhabitants across the Arabian peninsula, North Africa, Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia, and their diaspora, till today.A raging question by this point would be – what is it about Miswak that makes it all-so-effective? The answer to this question lies in its

active ingredients. While most oral disinfectants such as toothpastes, mouthwashes, and tooth powders, build their entire advertising campaigns around just one or two key ingredients such as silica, Miswak has a set of 19 active ingredients that actively promote stronger teeth, while also maintaining oral health. Alkaloids—Salvadorine, Trimethylamine—have an antibacterial effect Silica—natural abrasive, removes stains Calcium, Chlorides, Fluoridesimportant for dental care. The accepted wisdom behind this practice has been that toothpastes are essential to oral hygiene. Granted. But considering that the first toothpaste was invented sometime in the mid nineteenth century, using chew sticks, or Miswak, is a traditional knowledge that has benefited scores of people over centuries. With the goodness of a host of naturally occurring active ingredients and zero chemical formulations,

Miswak is safe to use and can be used by both adults and children alike. This is in direct contrast to the commercially available toothbrushes and toothpastes that need to be used with extreme caution, especially with younger children, for fear of conditions like fluorosis etcetera. Miswak can also be used comfortably as a natural toothbrush thanks to its effectiveness, to know more about which, we suggest you read our next section! Fights Tooth Decay And Cavities Protects Against Tartar And Plaque Removes Malodor Fights Harmful Bacteria And Germs Protects And Strengthens The Gums Refreshing aftertaste Affordable and effective Miswak can either be used as a standalone, or as an adjunct to your regular toothbrush and toothpaste. To use Miswak effectively, keep these in mind. To start, trim or chew off one end of your Miswak twig. Continue chewing from this end till the twig becomes soft and forms bristles at the center. To enhance this process, you could moisten the twig by dipping it in water. Once you see individual fibers resembling ‘bristles’, brush your teeth using the twig, as you would with a regular toothbrush. Remember to not use any toothpaste though.

Tea tree oil has often been used to treat different kinds of fungal infections like athletes foot, according to experts (2). So the next time you experience such a condition or know someone who is suffering from this, suggest them to massage with tea tree oil. They won’t forget your advice. Tea tree oil is quite different when compared to other antiseptics. It penetrates deep into the skin so that it can begin to act on the bacteria that are located underneath the surface. On top of that, tea tree oil helps in breaking up the pus as a solvent . No wonder it is a great treatment for boils. With tea tree oil, you can also improve the texture and quality of your skin (4). Simply add ten drops of this oil to your favorite night cream. Massage on a regular basis to moisturize your skin.

Blue Whale Challenge: Madras HC to take suo motu cognisance on September 4

The Madras High Court on Thursday said it will take action against "deadly" online games like 'Blue Whale Challenge' which claimed one life in Madurai district. Justices KK Sasidharan and GR Swaminathan of the Madurai bench stated this when Krishnamurthy, an advocate, made an appeal to the court to direct the Union Information and Broadcasting Ministry to ban such games and also sought permission to file a petition. The judges said, "We will take up the case suo motu" and added that hearing would be on 4 September.

It may be recalled that Vignesh, a private college student, allegedly committed suicide on 30 August after playing the online game. Vignesh had reportedly told his friends that he was "crazy" about the game and also told his parents that he was getting isolated due to his addiction for it. The game appears to goad vulnerable teens into killing themselves. It forces them to perform several dangerous activities, finally leading them to commit suicide.
