CALL TO ORDER: By Brenda Rubenuik at 7:03 pm.
ADOPTION OF MINUTES: Adoption of October 16, 2013 minutes motioned by Terry Stanley, seconded by Brenda Rubenuik.
CO-CHAIR REPORT: Brenda Rubenuik and Leslie Desautels New curriculum for grades K-9, BC government wants feed backpack from parents, and others in the public interested in education. There is a feedback form on the following website: https://curriculum.gov.bc.ca that can be completed. Any comments or concerns can be emailed to curriculum@gov.bc.ca

DPAC REPORT: Position available Next DPAC meeting is on Dec.12 at 7:00 pm at MRTA office. David Vanderguten the Director of Instruction on the new reporting practices will be the speaker
PRINCIPAL’S REPORT: Grant Frend Not in attendance Note read by Anelma, Grant is waiting to hear from the grade 8 basketball coach/team to see if they are interested in selling the coupon books.

On behalf of Mr. Goodman (video production team), Thank you for the TV that was paid for by PAC and placed in the foyer. RCMP had discussions with the grade 8’s in regards to social media. RCMP impressed with the quality of feedback that the kids asked. The boys and girls were separated into two groups. The students will now do an enquiry question and then a presentation (perhaps they can also do it for PAC?) at the JAM session in January. Winter Formal for grade 11 and 12 students on January 15, 2014 ~ at a top secret location Is trying to organize having seniors in our community to hang out with the students in the morning in the cafeteria, then stay for tea or coffee. Motion for two bursaries of $500.00 each to be decided on at April 16, 2014 PAC meeting. Motioned by Brenda Rubenuik and seconded by Shirley Boag Dec. 14 Christmas party given by the Key Club and the Kiwanis Club at Garibaldi for children registered with the Maple Ridge Christmas Hamper Society.
