Vivário, the Museum of Ecology and Plantation, focuses on sustainability and innovative design. The standout feature of this project is the Kinetic facade, inspired by the art of origami. This dynamic lattice structure serves as an architectural marvel that enhances energy efficiency by adapting to the sun's position, effectively reducing solar heat gain and contributing to a lower Energy Use Intensity (EUI). Additionally, the design integrates strategically positioned green roofs to enhance insulation, minimize heating and cooling demands, combat urban heat islands, and create a comfortable and energy-efficient environment, all tailored to Rio de Janeiro's hot and humid climate."
