Vikes look to be in the running for a conference title
by Marty Seeger Leader staff writer FREDERIC – The Vikings came awefully close to the Lakeland North Conference title in 2012, but fell short with a loss to Cameron, who went undefeated on the season before falling to Unity in the Level 1 playoffs. Like most coaches, Frederic’s Ken Belanger isn’t one to look ahead and has reason not to in 48 years of coaching football. No matter how good the team appears, on paper, he knows there’s a Coach Belanger lot of work ahead if they hope to be on top by the end of the 2013 nine-game season. The Vikings are the lone Division 7 team among the seven teams in the Lakeland North that hail from D5 and D6-sized school districts. Those include Cameron, Flambeau, Grantsburg, St. Croix Falls, Unity and Webster and, despite the challenge of going up against the larger schools, the Vikings have a solid group of kids and a large group, as well, which would please any coach. “It’s a good turnout, and the way the kids have worked, I mean, they’re all business. They’re ready to go and they’re working hard,” said Belanger. The Vikings have what Belanger calls an experienced backfield this season, with returning senior quarterback Jaryd Braden and tailback Peter Chenal, who is a 5-foot, 11-inch, 200-pound junior. Irric Erickson, also a junior, is a starting fullback. Belanger says there are three experienced juniors on the line but there is a bit of inexperience on the receiver end, but he’s still happy with what he has and particularly pleased with what the team, thus far, has retained from last season. “We’ve been amazed at all they retained from last year. Success hinges on young talent for Pirates
by Marty Seeger Leader staff writer GRANTSBURG – The Grantsburg Pirates are entering their second season under head coach Adam Hale and last year’s success carried the team to a playoff berth and 4-3 conference finish. Hale is hopeful that his new system will help the Pirates considerably this season. “Our biggest strength both offensively and defensively this season will be Coach Hale the fact that the kids all have a year’s experience with our coaching staff and systems. Everything won’t be brand-new to them and that should help us focus on detail and fundamentals,” he said. With a senior class group of just five, Hale says that it will be the underclassmen who will be looked upon to share the bulk of the load. Three key seniors include cornerback/running back Joseph Gaffney, linebacker/ offensive lineman Chandler Witzany and lineman Brody Bonneville. “A lot of underclassmen will be counted upon this year with us having a small senior class,” said Hale, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing, either, as the Pirates could be one to watch out for and in the running for a conference title just as any other team. LUCK CARDINALS FOOTBALL Low numbers but Luck should be a force to reckon with by Marty Seeger Leader staff writer LUCK – The Luck Cardinals football team will be dealing with lower numbers in 2013, but that doesn’t come as much of a surprise to anyone, as they’ve seen it coming for a while now. It’s the main reason Luck switched gears to an eight-man format in 2012. In the second year of existence as an eight-man team, and after going 8-2 last year, the Cardinals are working with 19 Coach Kendzior athletes on the roster, and if the team stays healthy through nine games, they’ll be tough to beat. “We’ve worked the kids the hardest we ever have,” said coach Don Kendzior. Even though Luck lost a handful of key seniors, they also had their share of injuries last season. Several of those athletes are back, and healthy, with as many as five of the starting eight ready to give it another shot, and all are hungry to win. “I would be disappointed if we didn’t have the same record, if not better. We lost a lot of good seniors, but we’ve got some kids that really have stepped up in the offseason,” Kendzior said. Stepping up in the offseason has meant a rigorous weightlifting regimen, as well as a lot of hard work in and out of practice. After three hours of practice early in the season, athletes continued with another half-hour insanity workout session to stay in shape and stay healthy, which is important with fewer than 20 players. Along with a fierce work ethic, experience and even a little bit of speed, the team is coachable, which Kendzior sees as a significant advantage, and it makes his job as coach a bit easier. There’s another bonus this season, as well, with more teams jumping on board with the eight-man football format. At least five more teams from the southern half of the state have been added and with a handful more teams next season, the WIAA will be able to sanction it and create a playoff system and eventual state championship. “I’m glad we made the switch because we saw these numbers coming and you can’t do anything about it; it is what it is,” Kendzior said.

Low on numbers but big on talent
by Marty Seeger Leader staff writer ST. CROIX FALLS – The Saints are working with roughly 30 athletes this year, which isn’t a lot by St. Croix Falls standards, but don’t let that number fool you. There are several quality athletes including 10 seniors who were pretty close to pulling out a victory over Osceola in the season opener. Those seniors have second-year coach Grant Belisle pretty excited as the season gets under way. “The coaches are excited about Coach Belisle this group of seniors. They’re a dedicated group of guys, and easy to coach. The younger guys we have are also doing a fantastic job at practice,” Belisle said. The team added a new offensive coordinator this season with Dave Rivard coming on board. “There are some new wrinkles to this year’s offense,” Belisle said. Seniors Andrew Erickson and Drew Dumke are returning starters as linemen, while seniors Ben Kopp, Brian Gilbert and Joe Rademacher return to the backfield and at the linebacker position. Belisle expects nothing but a solid round of competition every week once they reach conference play, which he expects to be pretty similar in terms of what each team brings to the field each week. “Every opponent in conference is equally important to prepare against. There’s never a time we can get complacent. We’ll practice each week attempting to accomplish a few goals, and play the game Friday night to see how we did. With that, I think the conference will be pretty even this year, and I’m looking forward to seeing who comes out on top,” he said. For the Saints, one of their biggest strengths will be Rademacher running the ball with a solid line to help open

SIREN DRAGONS FOOTBALL Dragons enter second season of eight-man with eight seniors by Marty Seeger Leader staff writer SIREN – It’s the second season for eight-man football in Siren and, with one year of coaching a different style of football, coach Bill Hoefler is excited to see what the year will bring. There is reason to be excited as eight of the team’s seniors, all of whom played for Hoefler over the past four seasons, are back again with Coach Hoefler more experience. “I have had these seniors since they were freshmen and they work extremely hard,” Hoefler said, adding that he’s also pleased to see that a handful more of eight-man teams have been added this season, which will bring more competition into an already competitive mix of teams, especially in the north, where they clearly dominated last season. Four teams from the north played an end-of-the year jamboree last fall against four of the strongest southern teams, and won handily all four of those games. While Siren hopes to be in the mix this season, early indications show Prairie Farm, New Auburn, Bruce and Luck to be top contenders in the Lakeland 8-man conference. Other than it being the second season of eight-man football, coach Hoefler said there isn’t much that has changed from last season, but he feels his team has better chemistry and leadership this season. Much of that comes from eight seniors including Davey St. John, Caleb Mulroy, Triston Alden, Coey Bauer, John D’Jock, Asa Hunter, Devan Pavlicek and Jade Merrill. Another strength, Hoefler says, could be on the offensive side of the ball for the Dragons with size and speed, and the same on defense. “Offense will be team size and speed as well as defensive team speed and size in certain positions,” Hoefler said. The Dragons finished near the middle of the eight teams in the conference last season but have a good opportunity to improve on that mark in 2013. Despite several teams that look to be strong again this season, Hoefler expects every game to be competitive and sees a much more balanced conference this season.

UNITY EAGLES FOOTBALL Five seniors set to lead Eagles to victory by Marty Seeger Leader staff writer BALSAM LAKE – The Eagles football team has a lot of youth this season and, with just five seniors, several underclassmen will be looked upon to fill the void. Among those five seniors, however, all have been starters for much of their high school careers and all started on both sides of the ball last season. “The five that are out are all going to be starters,” said coach Dave Anderson, which include returning quarterback Zac Johnson, lineman Cash Hickethier, Coach Anderson offensive lineman and linebacker Oliver Raboin, wide receiver and defensive back Justin Bradley and lineman Dakota Ward. The Eagles are coming off a year in which they earned a spot in the level two playoffs, after upsetting undefeated Cameron in a first-round home game before losing to a very tough Colby squad. The team has a total of 26 on the varsity roster but more than 40 total, with a large freshman class as well as a sophomore class that could see varsity action this fall. Anderson was pleased with the team’s effort during the offseason, particularly with the upperclassmen who worked with some of the younger players. UNITY EAGLES FOOTBALL ROSTER

Along with the five seniors, several of the incoming juniors saw a lot of action last year. In total, there are about seven returning players to the offensive side of the ball, and about eight on defense that
return. Anderson feels the team has good size on the line and good running backs with size as well. It won’t be the size they had last fall but, without the size, they have gained some speed. Experienced players are lacking a bit on the Eagles this season, but Anderson hopes the team can take control with a solid ground attack and aggressive

WEBSTER TIGERS FOOTBALL Top-heavy Tigers could surprise this season by Marty Seeger Leader staff writer WEBSTER – There’s a bit of excitement in the air in Webster this season, as the team returns up to 16 seniors and a new head coach, Jovin Kroll, who took over for Jeromie Voeltz, now the head football coach at Spooner High School. Kroll isn’t new to the Tigers program, however, as was assistant coach the previous six seasons at Webster, mainly focusing on the offensive side of the ball. Kroll Jovin Kroll played in the Maple Northwestern system and played four years of college football at River Falls. He was also a firstteam academic All-American, and AllWIAC player. “I’ve always wanted to coach. I don’t think I necessarily always said I had to be a head coach, but I appreciate the opportunity to coach the kids each year and, as an assistant coach, I’ve definitely learned how to handle administrative duties that come with being a head coach. I’m excited about the opportunity, and we’re taking advantage of every day thus far,” said Kroll. The Tigers, Kroll says, are more experienced, stronger and faster than they have been in previous years, and trying to be more aggressive on defense. “We hope to give the opposing offenses a lot of different looks to prepare for,” Kroll said. Nearly the entire team is back from last year, with exception to three seniors. The Tigers return two first-team allconference players with running back and senior safety Aaron Dietmeier, and senior offensive lineman and linebacker Cliff Benjamin. The team also has a lot of depth. “We are going to be able to get some players a little rest during the games. For
the first time since 2009, we’re not going to be playing nine or 10 guys both ways, which should help as the year wears on,” Kroll said. Despite coming off a 1-7 season last year, the Tigers already got off to a winning start with a win over Clayton in the season opener. It was a good start for the new coach, who has set the bar high for his athletes in what appears to be a tough Lakeland North Conference. “Every year there are surprises. I wouldn’t be one bit surprised if any of the seven schools win it. I would be very disappointed if we weren’t at least in the picture going into the final few weeks,” said Kroll.
The Tigers could be one of the favorites to win the Lakeland North, but with such an evenly matched conference there’s no telling who will come out on top. FREDERIC VOLLEYBALL Vikings continue to rebuild
by Marty Seeger Leader staff writer FREDERIC – The Frederic volleyball team is coming off a winless West Lakeland Conference 2012 season but there’s still strong participation in the sport, which should give second-year coach Jackie Peterson a lot to work with, particularly with her younger core on varsity. Junior Makayla Arthurs was the first to record a pair of aces for the Vikings in the opener as well.

Hope Tucker and Olivia Tucker practiced with the varsity team last season and will be looked upon to help lead the rest of the team to victory. “Everyone else is new,” said coach Deb Allaman-Johnson, who can’t wait to get the season under way with a set of serious players hungry to win. “As always, it is an honor and privilege to work with outstanding, hardworking, goal-oriented young people. They energize me,” Allaman-Johnson said. Along with a bunch of new faces, there will be a bit of inexperience on the team, and Allaman-Johnson said height could be another weakness, but she still expects this team to have many more strengths, listing “attitude, work ethic, strong academics, positive leaders, solid volleyball skills.” While Grantsburg is picked to be near the top of a much-improved conference, Allaman-Johnson expects “fun challenges

Coming off best year ever
by Greg Marsten Leader staff writer LUCK – The Luck Cardinals volleyball squad is coming off their best year ever, with a phenomenal run that ended at the Div. 4 WIAA State semifinal in Green Bay against the eventual champs. Head coach Jen Nelson is hoping to keep that spirit alive again for 2013. “They actually grew well all last season,” Nelson said. “We wound up against a Catholic Central team that was really high level. But we’ve got two new freshman who are both really good, and I’m excited about Whitney (Petersen’s) defense, Tessa (Clemenson) running the court, and all of our senior knowledge,” she said. ST. CROIX FALLS VOLLEYBALL Saints working with a new coach this season by Marty Seeger Leader staff writer ST. CROIX FALLS – Newly acquired St. Croix Falls volleyball coach Alyssa Notermann isn’t an unfamiliar face in the local community. This is her sixth year as a varsity volleyball coach, but she got her start in Frederic and was a coach in Luck as well, before coaching in Osceola for a couple of years too. This season she has a lot to work with and should have a team near the top of the West Coach Notermann Lakeland.
“We have some big hitters with a lot of talent. They are running an offense that the girls haven’t tried before, but they are excelling at it quickly,” Notermann said. As is the case with any volleyball team in the early season, there will be a bit of a learning curve for some of the players and several things to work on as well. Once the Saints get accustomed to the new coach and system, Notermann feels they’ll be tough to beat. “We have a lot of defensive work ahead of us, but we have all the elements of a winning team. Even though I’m the new coach, this is not a building year for Saints volleyball. Once we pull it all together we will be a force,” said Notermann. The team returns a core of five players from last season’s starting rotation, including seniors Kierstyn Campbell, Jessica Rademacher and Matti Gerlach. The Saints also return junior Mariah Rohm, who was named to the alltournament team at the Menomonie

SIREN VOLLEYBALL Dragons continue to improve in a tough conference
by Marty Seeger Leader staff writer SIREN – The Siren Dragons volleyball team is in one of the toughest conferences in northwest Wisconsin, and despite playing strong and winning a volleyball quad at Northwood in the preseason, the Dragons had a tough schedule to start. The team was taken down first by Grantsburg and then faced the Luck Cardinals, with both are coming off sectional Coach Stanford championship
seasons. Despite the early conference losses the Dragons have made steady improvements under fifth-year head coach Caryn Stanford and continue to keep pace with a fast-changing and competitive conference. strong group, with three juniors and up to five sophomores who play solid defense and have strong passing skills. “We have only two players returning with any real varsity experience. We have great enthusiasm and they are excited about the season. We have great seniors to lead,” said Stanford. The Dragons finished with just two wins in the conference last year and had one playoff win during the season before that. But the process to becoming a successful program will take time. Still, Siren certainly won’t be overlooked this season. “We are looking forward to giving all our competition a great run for their money,” Stanford said.

UNITY VOLLEYBALL Eagles strong in numbers, experience by Marty Seeger Leader staff writer BALSAM LAKE – The Unity volleyball team finished a respectable 7-5 in the conference last season and despite the need to fill a couple of holes from the vacated seniors, the team has a large core of dedicated new seniors to fill the void. As many as five seniors including Carly Ince, Maddie Ramich, Emily Gross, Olivia Nelson and Paige Lunsmann will be looked upon to help lead the team, and all have a lot of varsity experience coming into 2013. Unity’s other two seniors, Becca Garvey and Kennedy Olson, are a year improved and played limited varsity last season. “I’m just excited for them because they’ve worked really hard and they’re a great group of girls. I couldn’t ask for better leaders and being good role
models so I’m really excited about that,” said coach Jennifer DeLozier, who has been head coach of the Eagles for just over two seasons, and spent several other years as an assistant. It’s an exciting year for Unity as the team competed in club and various summer leagues over the summer, and it’s one of the first groups coming through that began participating in the youth programs. “We’re finally getting that group where they’re all participating starting at sixth and seventh grade and going all the way through,” DeLozier said, and with the Lakeland Conference continuing to get stronger it will be a good way to put their years of hard work to the test. Along with familiar faces, there are also a few new ones, including the addition of C-squad coach, Louis Colletti, who played volleyball in college as a setter. DeLozier is pleased to have Colletti on the team this season with the knowledge and experience that come with it.

WEBSTER VOLLEYBALL Tigers won’t be overlooked this season by Marty Seeger Leader staff writer EAU CLAIRE – The Tigers will be looking to move up in the West Lakeland after finishing .500 in 2012, and despite another strong conference lineup there aren’t many changes to Webster. “I’m excited to get the season started and to see how the players progress throughout the season,” said coach Mindy Widiker. The team graduated just one senior and much of the same core is back. “Our whole team is basically returning and they all have key parts to making our team run effectively,” Widiker said, adding that she expects another tough conference run.
“It’s a tough conference and you always have to be ready for Grantsburg. Luck should be a great opponent again this season, too.” The Tigers already got off to a good start to the season, defeating St. Croix Falls in their home opener 3-1, which is a good sign of what’s to come for the Tigers, but there are several other teams that will likely stand in the way. “In my opinion, we have a tough conference. We will need to be on top of our game for each and every conference match we play. If everybody remains healthy, we will hopefully be towards the top someplace,” Widiker said. The strengths that will carry the Tigers according to Widiker are their experience, willingness to work hard and ability to work well as a team. Currently they have three seniors on the varsity along with four juniors. Two sophomores are sharing time on both JV and varsity, as well as another junior.

Vikings still building back the numbers
by Marty Seeger Leader staff writer FREDERIC – On the surface it doesn’t appear that the Vikings cross-country is big on numbers but after canceling the program for a year, and bringing it back the following year, Frederic has doubled in numbers. “Hey, we got some out, and we’ve got some middle schoolers that are coming out here with us too. Pirate boys eyeing another trip to state
by Marty Seeger Leader staff writer GRANTSBURG – The Grantsburg boys cross-country team has all the makings of a team worthy of another trip to the state meet in Wisconsin Rapids this fall, and they’ll be attempting it under the direction of new coach Andy Richardson. Richardson is a recent U of M graduate and was a distance runner on the Golden Gophers track team. He also spent time as an assistant track coach at Irondale High School and as an assistant girls hockey coach at Totino Grace High School. He will be the Blizzard boys hockey coach this winter as well. Coach Huskamp Richardson is excited to get his coaching career under way, and looks forward to running with his athletes each and every day. “Based on the first few days of practice we have a team that is willing to put in the hard work it takes to succeed,” Richardson said. Those who have already been leading the Pirate boys squad include senior Jacob Ohnstad, who took first overall in the first two invites of the season. He’ll be winning

While the boys will be a strong team again, the girls have a bit of a weakness. “Numbers, especially on the girls side,” said Richardson, who has about five girls, just enough to qualify for team points. But
those who are out have been doing well to start. Freshman Hallie Jensen and senior Kate Rod have been finishing around the 19-minute mark, and could make big improvements as the season wears on.

Small in numbers but big on experience by Marty Seeger Leader staff writer ST. CROIX FALLS – There’s a lot of optimism for the St. Croix Falls crosscountry team this season, and why not? Returning state qualifiers Sophie Klein and Henry Klein are back and looking for another shot at state, and coach Jennifer Clemins foresees up to eight athletes who have potential to earn allconference honors. So far, both teams have improved in the early invites and there’s more improvement to come as October Coach Clemins approaches. “First of all, I must say that I am truly happy to have my cross-country ‘family’ back together again. I am privileged to work with such an outstanding group of fine young men and women,” Clemins said. Along with Henry Klein, the boys also return senior Brendon Gearhart and junior Mark Wampfler. The girls return Sophie Klein, as well as a healthy Erica Bergmann, who Clemins said is “ready to regain her place as our solid second runner for the team and once again earn all-conference honors.” Joleen Gravelle and Madalyn Bollig are also returning and have logged a

They also have a new assistant coach, Amy Williamson, who has years of running experience, including local competitions and half-marathons. “Overall the Saints cross-country team is coming into this season with a positive
attitude. Most have been hitting the roads hard running over the summer months, so their bodies are ready to take on the rigors of more strenuous workouts right from the start. We are fortunate that the majority of our team are veteran runners who know what to expect and will continue to work hard on a daily basis,” Clemins said.

Participation strong for Unity boys again this season
by Marty Seeger Leader staff writer BALSAM LAKE – With each passing year, the Unity cross-country team becomes a bit stronger in numbers, particularly with the boys team, which finished in second place during the first meet of the season in Grantsburg. “We have good numbers for the Coach Anderson boys team again this year,” said coach Lori Anderson, who noted she has great leadership in her two seniors, Austin Baker and Neil Kline. The team also has four new freshmen boys on the team, many of whom were involved in numerous runs this summer, according to Anderson. “A great bunch of kids that are willing to strive to improve,” Anderson said. There are also three new incoming girls including freshman Kendra Bramsen, who came in first for the Eagles team
during the first meet of the season. Kiera Bever, also a freshman, is also new to the team as well as senior Dani Mares, who Anderson says will complement the returning seniors Ella Luepke and Olivia Coen. There are no sophomore girls, but junior Tatum Kline will represent the juniors and has the experience to keep the Eagle girls competitive.
WEBSTER CROSS COUNTRY
Tigers continue storied tradition by Marty Seeger Leader staff writer WESBTER – The Tigers cross-country team is set for another season of success under coach Roy Ward, who continues to be a positive influence on his athletes. They are expected to carry on a tradition of excellence that Webster distance running is known for. While the team is a bit smaller in numbers this year, the coaching staff always seems to get the most out of their Coach Ward athletes, and that showed in just their second meet of the season, as one runner shaved more than eight seconds from her time. “I always enjoy seeing athletes improve and work towards their goals,” said Ward when asked what he was most excited about this season. Webster has several junior boys this year who will be working hard toward getting the team to the finish line, such as Billy Cooper and Andrew Schrooten, who are the team’s top two runners to start the year. Andrew Ruiz, a freshman, and juniors Dan Formanek, Alihan Satir, Nathan Gatten and Alec Gustafson all

Each one of them has a purpose and is important,” Ward said. On the girls side there are only four on the team this season, and Ward, like any coach, would love to add more girls to the
team. But no matter how big or small, this team will be just as willing to strive for their best and put forth a solid effort. “We are a tight family that has each other’s backs and stick together like glue,” Ward said.

Holicky back to coaching the game he loves
by Marty Seeger Leader staff writer LUCK – After retiring from the Unity School District and coaching there for more than 25 years as boys golf coach and girls basketball coach, Chuck Holicky is back in the coaching ranks, this year for the Luck/Unity girls golf team. Holicky had several successful years with the boys golf teams at Unity as well as the girls basketball teams, and with the same passion he had in the past, he’s approaching this Coach Holicky season with just as much passion with Luck/Unity girl golfers. “I’m very excited really, and I like golf a lot and kind of addicted to it myself so it’s just a matter of, if you can spend some time to work on the game and teach it to everybody that’s great,” Holicky said. “It was fun while I did it, I have a lot of good connections with kids that have graduated.” But he also added that he’s hopeful to see a lot more golfers coming out to play in the coming years. “Hopefully I can start building something here, because we don’t have the numbers we’d like to have now,” said Holicky. Jillian Klatt is back with the team again this season and is the only senior, along with only one junior, sophomore and freshman to start the season. The team lost a handful of seniors from last season, including Avery Steen, who moved on to

New this year is the welcomed addition of Luck/Unity to the Heart O’ North Conference. There are currently nine girls golf teams in the conference but for the previous two years, both Luck/Unity and St. Croix Falls were not affiliated with
any conference. Because there are nine teams now in the Heart O’ North, most of the golf meets will feature a threeteam triangular, as opposed to having the regular invitationals.

Golfers find a home in the Middle Border
by Marty Seeger Leader staff writer ST. CROIX FALLS – The St. Croix Falls girls golf team is off to an exciting start this season after finding a place in the Middle Border Conference. The Saints hadn’t had a home in any conference for the past couple of seasons, but now join New Richmond, Osceola, BaldwinWoodville, Somerset, St. Croix Central, Prescott, Ellsworth and Amery. “Switching conferences to the Middle Border is definitely the most exciting aspect of this year for us. With this change the SCF Girls will be facing new opponents and learning the layouts of the various courses that many have never played before. We all look forward to much shorter travel times,” said coach Maria Gjovig. The team is also welcoming a Coach Gjovig good-sized team compared to previous seasons, including two incoming freshmen. “Both of them have played some golf and I look for them to be key players in the near future. feels the team is capable of finishing right in the middle of the conference, with Osceola, New Richmond and Somerset producing strong teams. But Gjovig says there’s a lot of strength with this Saints team. “Next to our positive, encouraging
attitudes, our biggest strength this season is the girls’ continued growth in their skill development. This season they are focused on hitting the ball farther and on target rather than just hitting the ball,” Gjovig said.

This is Getty’s first coaching experience, and since the tennis team needed a coach, she says she was more than happy to help out. “I’m excited to see the girls have fun, and improve their tennis skills,” Getty said. There are only three girls on the team that are new to tennis, including two freshmen from Luck and a senior from Unity. Getty said they’re a great addition to the team, which appears to be filled with quality seniors, including captains Tess Anderson, Kayla Bramsen and Sierra Thomfohrda, who have logged many hours on the court in their four years at Unity. “Our No. 1 doubles team, Sierra Thomfohrda and Cass Hanson, will also be tough competition in the conference and beyond,” Getty added. The Eagles have a good chance to finish strong in the conference. Osceola and Amery will be strong competitors as well, but with up to five experienced seniors that also include Lily Lenk, the Unity/Luck tennis team could surprise a few schools this year. “We’re hoping for several new players to come out for the Lily Lenk team next summer,
