Webster native is a quirky rising comedy star, in spite of what she says
by Greg Marsten Leader staff writer NEW RICHMOND – Webster native Mary Mack held her annual Holiday Comedy Night on Friday, Dec. 3, in New Richmond, and while the title of the show was “Mary Mack’s Guide to Acting Normal: Holiday Edition,” in reality, she’s far from it. She doesn’t seem like your typical former music teacher, accomplished polka band musician or Dodge Neon owner. Well, that one is up in the air. But she also doesn’t have the air of a world-class comedian, folk humorist and songstress/mandolinist. She proves the point by saying things like “Oh for neat,” and her constant self-deprecation.
