by Priscilla Bauer GRANTSBURG – When LaVonne Seemann graduated from Grantsburg High School in 1955, she left with a plan. “My neighbor, Tina Anderson, told me something when I was just a young woman. She said ‘plan your work and work your plan,’” Seeman said. She took the words to heart and made a promise to herself she would one day fulfill that plan as she embarked on her 50-year nursing career. She recalled at just 14 years old begging for a 25cents-an-hour job as a nurse’s aide at what was then the Grantsburg Municipal Hospital.
