Francki Evelyn Brower Williams entered eternal rest on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. A native of Newport News, Francki was born on August 18, 1944, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Brower. She attended Huntington High School and went on to become an accomplished
licensed cosmetologist. During her long career, she managed the Madam Daniels School of Beauty Culture and would later open her own salon, Francki’s Hair Affair in Hampton. Frankie also served as the primary cosmetologist for Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel and
Crematory for over 40 years. At Cooke Bros., she was loved for her quick wit, dedication, and her ability to sooth the grieving through her craft. Frankie accepted Christ early in
life and was former member of Calvary Revival Church in Norfolk, VA. She later joined Gethsemane Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Dwight Riddick. Frankie
was a prominent fixture in the community serving as an advocate for the less fortunate. Francki loved gospel music, exercise and was a firm believer in proper nutrition. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Terri L. Ludden. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons; Vince Ramone Williams (Elsie) and Stephen Patrick Williams (Kathy); Grandson Shane Patrick Williams; great-granddaughter,
Ayla Williams; close friend and “Sisters”, Shirley M. Hobbs and Willye Dawkins Baker. She will also be missed by her Godchild, Charmane Sims and a host of family and friends.
