ENRICHMENT
Summary of Feedback
Generally, parents were more than satisfied with the level of programming available to members after school. When given the option to choose areas of focus for the Club’s enrichment opportunities parent feed back was generally split among all five core areas of Academics, The Arts, STEM, Sports, and Healthy Behaviors.
Communication
As previously mentioned communication was a huge area of improvement. The Club’s efforts as mentioned in the last page will help to keep parents informed of the sites static approach to after school time and will share information on Enrichment opportunities relevant to their child's needs and interest.
Elevated Enrichment
The Club will assess its current slate of enrichment opportunities to identify and facilitate organization wide best practices. The Club will also invest more creatively in how we deliver deep and more intentional enrichment opportunities.
Standardization
In an effort to be more efficient the Club will revisit standard approaches to how our programs are orchestrated. The Club day will be allotted in three main chunks including... Kids Choice (Unstructured time afterschool to play and get a healthy snack) Power Hour (1 hour of academic support, with additional academic enrichment opportunities for those who have completed their homework) Enrichment (1-2 hours of structured enrichment activities consistent with the Club’s five core areas of Academics, The Arts, STEM, Sports, and Healthy Behaviors.
