Five flexible spaces, tailored to your needs The Albany Centre has five different spaces available for hire individually or in combination, to perfectly match your requirements.
The Woodlands Suite holds up to eighty delegates in comfort and features a three-metre wide screen and surround sound. Our Conference Room holds up to 50, and is ideal for medium-sized presentation-style events.
The Gilchrist Room features a large boardroom table and is perfect for formal meetings. It has a 50-inch screen and is popular as a space for IT training, utilising our own portable IT Suite.
The Dewar Room and the Jennie Lee Room each hold 20 people and make ideal training rooms. They are also popular as breakout spaces for larger events and conferences.

A venue shaped by core values
The Albany Learning and Conference Centre is owned and operated by Glasgow Council for the Voluntary Sector (GCVS), the main development agency and advocate for voluntary and community organisations in Glasgow. The Centre serves as a training venue and meeting space for the city’s voluntary organisations.
GCVS is a member-led organisation with over 600 members. In our forty-year history, we have listened to and learned from our members and from our operating environment. We always strive to work in ways that are inclusive, trustworthy and professional. This ethos drives all that we do at the Albany Learning and Conference Centre.

The Albany Centre can provide for all your guests’ catering needs, from a simple sandwich and coffee through to a delicious mixed buffet, served in our in-house cafe.
Our prices are highly competitive, and we will be happy to deliver either from our set menus or to work to your own specifications.

Car Parking: the Albany Centre has facility for disabled parking - street parking is available close to the building and we are close to all major transport systems. Prices correct at February 2013
