Karate classes
Karate builds confidence and discipline. It teaches respect and accomplishment. It promotes health ans sense of well being. This class is for 5 to 16 year olds. It is led by Marzouk Hamitouche, who has been coaching since 2000 and is a member of the Scottish Karate Governing Body. COSTS: DATES:
Aikido

Welfare Reform Workshop
Delivered by Maryhill Citizens Advice Bureau, this session gives an overview of the Welfare Reform changes which are currently taking place. It is open to all members of the local community and is free to attend. Hearing loss clinic
To work well, hearing aids need to be cleaned regularly, batteries need to be replaced, and the tubing that connects the ear mould to the aid needs to be changed every three to six months. Action on Hearing Loss volunteers carry out basic maintenance on hearing aids, offer advice about caring for and getting used to your aids, and information about hearing loss and the services and equipment that can help. If you or someone you know needs support to make their NHS hearing aids more comfortable, and hear more clearly, come along to our drop in session and find out how we can help. An evening of luxurious relaxation with Aromatherapy
Sometimes we can begin to feel a bit jaded and in need of some self-care. Aromatherapy oils are wonderful for promoting relaxation and wellbeing.
In this workshop you will use one or two safe oils to give and receive a hand massage. You will learn some selfmassage techniques for stress relief and how to use oils to support restful sleep. Participants are asked to bring a small towel for their own use. Date:

The Broken Biscuits cookery club
A monthly family cookery club, hosted by Tom Shields. This is a community project on a tight budget, supported by help from local chefs and businesses.
Families with children aged five or more are able to work in hands-on demonstrations with top visiting chefs and expert local cooks. Broken Biscuits goes on a journey taking in the Mediterranean diet, the Andalucian diet, the Fife diet... and the Woodlands diet! Next Dates: Cost:
