Welcome to a very busy August here at Gemporia! I love the gemstone world for the people in it, and we are celebrating the legacies of past leaders in the jewellery world during our Hall of Fame event – can you tie the gems to the legend? Not to be outdone, our Founder Steve Bennett has released some of his rare personal collection which will be showcased during Bennett Vault .

Five years on from our gem-hunting trip in the Mogok Valley, our showcase Burma: Revisited sees us reflect on this trip, and the treasures we acquired all those years ago. Speaking of treasure, I’ve always been fascinated with the idea of Hidden Treasures, and this event celebrates treasures hidden by rock or wave. Finally, In Bloom celebrates two recent persistent trends within the jewellery world – the butterfly motif, and vibrant colour combinations.

A Partner’s Voice: Kati Elliott

Hello! I’m Kati, Founder of VISAGE and Head of Beauty here at Gemporia. For those who haven’t met me, I’m in my ninth year at Gemporia, and I’ve worked within the TV team in various roles including producing, presenting, jewellery design, commercial management, and heading up our Beauty Division.

I’m very passionate about the strength of shopping television and the power it has in being able to connect with you at home, and VISAGE has taught me the importance of not just creating products that bring confidence, but also the power of educating via TV. I find so much joy in being able to create a community where people can come together and learn how to do things that make them feel great.

I created VISAGE almost five years ago, but I’m about to have one of the biggest launches we’ve ever done. Fancy Intense is my brand-new perfume, adding to the VISAGE fragrance family, and it started as a project to create a fragrance that, for me, represented the feeling of my absolute favourite gemstone: Yellow Diamond. The gem’s rarity, colour and allure are what is conjured in my mind, and I wanted to somehow create a

blend of notes that really captured that essence – and Fancy Intense does just that! By blending different types of vanilla with other notes like brown sugar tonka bean, the richness and warmth that comes with each spray is nothing short of divine.

I’m launching so much over the next six months, and I can’t wait for you all to try what I’ve been working on for you. There’s new makeup, new skincare, new fragrances and so much more – you’re going to love it! I’m also working on many other exciting things for you too, such as creating a YouTube channel for tutorials, building a VISAGE website, writing my book and planning a Masterclass to teach you face-to-face.

When I think about Yellow Diamonds , their rarity, colour and allure are what is conjured in my mind . Kati xxx
