Letter from Alumni Relations
A LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR OF ALUMNI RELATIONS
MY FELLOW ALUMNI,
December 2022 makes two years that I have had the pleasure of serving as your Director of Alumni Relations! What an incredible journey it has been so far. I am grateful to serve in a capacity that allows me to meet many wonderful people who share the same passion for our beloved institution. We began the 2022-23 fiscal year by launching the Alumni Tiger Tour in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, where Georgetown College Alumna and Trustee Tracey Clark ’94, hosted a fantastic evening of celebration. We look forward to more Tiger Tour events in the weeks ahead! Homecoming 2022 was filled with memorable events like the Distinguished Alumni Awards, Songfest, the Presidential Inauguration of Dr. Rosemary Allen, the Diversity Brunch, and so much more! I am already looking forward to Homecoming 2023! The Advancement Office recently moved from Giddings Hall to what is now called The Alumni House. We are excited about this new location, as it is the perfect place for YOU! We welcome alumni and invite you to come for a tour, a cup of coffee, and great conversation. Across the globe, our alumni are making their presence known; their innovation, compassion, and dedication in their respective roles and fields OLIVIA continues to stand tall and stand out. If you have any news to share for our next issue, email me at olivia_dunn@georgetowncollege.edu. We would love to hear from you. I hope that you all have a wonderful holiday season! Sincerely, It was a Pumpkin Ambush here at Georgetown College! (A group of tigers is an ambush.) Our Tiger family hand-carved pumpkins for all to enjoy on the steps of Giddings Hall through Halloween night. Check out the video by scanning the QR code.
