Georgetown’s Master’s in International Business and Policy in Dubai harnesses the combined expertise from two top-ranked schools: McDonough School of Business and Walsh School of Foreign Service. Co-taught by professors from the McDonough School of Business and School of Foreign Service, the Master’s in International Business and Policy Dubai program provides a balanced perspective on how each area affects the other. The curriculum includes an understanding of conducting business at a global level and addresses the present and future challenges of engaging in business on a global scale. Courses have been developed to specifically address the business landscape of the MENASA region. The program culminates with a Social Action Project, where you will design and implement a project that benefits or inspires social change in your community or anywhere in the world.

The Social Action Project brings to life Georgetown’s valuesbased approach to business and inspires students to address and confront a social need.
You will work with a small team of classmates and a faculty mentor to conduct research and consult with an organization that delivers positive societal impact. You will complete 20-30 hours of fieldwork and provide consultative feedback to the organization, in addition to submitting a reflective essay for a grade prior to your final module.

As Southeast Asia’s largest economy and a rapidly evolving emerging market, Indonesia provides a rich context for understanding the complexities of globalization. During this international residency, students will examine comparative politics, development economics, organizational management, cross-cultural communication, and the impacts of globalization on developing economies. Study will take place at Georgetown’s new School of Foreign Service Asia Pacific campus in Jakarta.
You will travel to the United States’ capital city to study the interconnected challenges and opportunities facing both nations and firms. During this international residency, students will explore the dynamics of economic transformation, the interplay of institutions, diplomacy, and international business, and the evolving trends shaping the future of the global economy. Study will take place at Georgetown’s campus in Washington, D.C.
