Global Real Assets
AT THE INTERSECTION OF REAL ESTATE, INFRASTRUCTURE, AND SUSTAINABILITY
Lead the Future of Real Estate and Infrastructure
The real estate industry has seen dramatic changes as a result of rising interest rates, growing environmental concerns, and an increased focus on the built environment’s role in climate change. These circumstances have impacted the way investors are allocating capital and making business decisions.
Now more than ever, the industry needs professionals who understand the changing real estate and infrastructure landscape and are equipped with the experience and skills to make an impact. This starts with real assets. As a broader definition of the built environment, real assets go beyond real estate to include considerations in infrastructure – such as transportation, digital, social, and alternative energy as investments – to ensure decisions are made within an essential environmental and societal context.
It is our view at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business and the Steers Center for Global Real Estate that we must prepare our students for the careers of the future – and that starts with pairing foundational cutting-edge learning in real estate and infrastructure with real work in the industry through internships, case projects, global experiences, and networking opportunities. In the tradition of Georgetown University, we deliver these curricular and co-curricular experiences with a focus on the common good, identifying new ways to advance business goals while bettering our world.
With these values at the forefront, we created a first-of-its-kind M.S. in Global Real Assets (MS-GRA) program to provide students with the skills and experience necessary to lead positive change in an evolving industry. I invite you to join our MS-GRA program and become part of our growing and dynamic real assets community here at Georgetown and around the world.
