“I was able to learn what opportunities in the private sector were available outside of the government that as a junior officer getting out of the Marines, I had no access to. Georgetown McDonough gave me the chance to grow outside of my comfort zone in the advisory industry while connecting me with former service member classmates who shared similar experiences to my own.” Mike Bergen, MBA ’09 Senior Associate, Toffler Associates U.S. Marine Corps Veteran
“The MBA program has been invaluable in helping me transition from the Army to the private sector. Georgetown McDonough’s faculty and curriculum have augmented my leadership experience with the managerial skills I need to make sound business decisions. The entire MBA experience has opened up amazing opportunities for me and my fellow veterans.” Ray Gabriel, MBA ’14 Summer Intern, AT&T U.S. Army Veteran
“The McDonough Military Association has been an integral part of my MBA experience. It is a great community comprising veterans from each of the armed services all willing to support each other. The mentorship and guidance provided by the members of this association truly makes the McDonough School of Business a unique and exceptional place to earn a MBA.”
“My experiences in the McDonough Military Association added so many smiles to my time at Georgetown. We first connected with each other and then used the MMA as a platform to talk to our classmates about what it means to serve in a time of war and how that applies to the business world.” Jason McCarthy, MBA ’11 Founder & CEO, GORUCK U.S. Army Veteran
“McDonough provided me with the perfect location and military network to find a career within federal consulting. Being centrally located in D.C., Georgetown McDonough was able to host veterans recruiting teams from top consulting firms in the area, simplifying the job-finding process and connecting me with people who could help me translate my military experience and MBA to a private sector career.” Rich Storey, MBA ’10 Manager, Federal Strategy and Operations, Deloitte Consulting LLP U.S. Navy Veteran
