The Georgetown McDonough Difference Georgetown McDonough offers you a transformational educational experience. Our faculty and staff are experts in their research fields. And they are industry leaders themselves, advising global organizations from Fortune 100 executives to high government officials. You will learn from our experts and then apply knowledge through real-world consulting, internship, and leadership experiences. Established in 1789, Georgetown University is the oldest Jesuit institution in the nation. The Jesuit concept of cura personalis, or “care for the whole person,” is integrated throughout your MBA experience. Georgetown McDonough cultivates principled leaders who have a sense of responsibility both to shareholders and to society. Our location in Washington, D.C. — at the intersection of business, policy, and international affairs — provides you access to professional networks and diverse perspectives. The World Bank, International Monetary Fund, and 176 embassies are just blocks away, and Washington, D.C., is home to headquarters of the most Fortune 500 companies per capita in the United States.
“The conversation at McDonough was rich. We had students with diverse career backgrounds who brought new perspectives and were all interested in debating cases in a constructive way.” — Caroline Decker, Full-time MBA ’13 From Peace Corps to Bain and Co. Consultant
