1. A live brief set by Leeds College of Art in collaboration with Leeds based brand Studio 805 to create a t-shirt design based on the concept of ‘Northern Powerhouse’. I explored the nineties acid house rave scene including the Hacienda nightclub to inspire my use of pattern within development. Primary photography and mark making became the basis of my development from which I explored pattern digitally.
LEVEL 5: FASHION CONCEPTS AND CREATIVE STRATEGIES
PA R A LLEL To comunicate my design, I was required to research into locations, styling and photography. I chose to communicate my t-shirt under my own assigned name Parallel, a high end menswear brand. For Parallel I created a lookbook and styling catalogue showing my photography and styling skills.

2. A live brief set by Leeds College of Art in collaboration with Lambert’s Yard, a designer store based in Leeds city centre.
LEVEL 5: FASHION PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE
We were required to communicate our interpretation of the colour black. I looked to artist Ryan Mcginley’s “Fall Into The Winter” series and Solve Sundsbo’s photography for Love magazine to help me communicate the dark issue of global warming. My photography (shown right) was exhibited in Lambert’s Yard in October 2015.
3. This project involved styling a shoot for a Level 5 Fashion Design and Realisation student’s work which consisted of a tailored menswear coat. I was required to source and style the clothing to workwear, sportswear and minimal aesthetics to portray the versatility of the coat.

A live brief in collaboration with The Bone Cancer Research Trust for their 10th anniversary. In groups created randomly consisting of two design students and two communication students, we were given a muse who had survived bone cancer and were trusted to create an accessory or garment for them, and create a film about or for them. My group’s muse was Helena Cockwell, a 14 year old Osteosarcoma survivor.
LEVEL 5: RESPONSIVE MODULE
This is the development of our ideas for the backpack we made for Helena, with the clear bright material portraying her open and bubbly nature.

I created and edited the film about Helena’s story using footage we gathered when we visited the family. The video portrays Helena’s positivity throughout her cancer story, and as a group we branded Helena as a motivator and supporter for current cancer sufferers. The film was edited using Adobe Premier Pro. In addition, I created a colourful logo for Helena’s brand using Adobe In Design.
We exhibited our bag and film in May 2015 to our muses and their families. The film was projected onto the hanging bag to show the transparency of the bag, and the brightness of it.
5. A brief set enabling me to work in the style of one of my favourite high end brands, Celine. I produced a six outfit line up inspired by a WGSN trend and Celine’s previous clothing. I then produced by own styled shoot in the style of Celine, heavily considering my choice of location, aesthetic, clothes and model.
LEVEL 4: FASHION CONCEPTS AND CONTEMPORARY CONTEXT
Photographed and styled by myself.
