BUSINESS AND TRADE REQUESTS
Projects In 2020, the GTCC Corporate Services Department organised yet again a great variety of exclusive target group-specific projects, business delegations, events and workshops that were aimed at promoting bilateral trade relations between Thailand and Germany. In response to the extraordinary circumstances related to the Covid-19 pandemic a wide range of these activities had been organised as digital formats. There were approximately nine consultancy conferences/seminars (one physical event and eight webinars) in addition to four business delegations (one physical and three virtual delegations). In addition, (vir tual) projects under the framework of the German Chamber ASEAN Business Council (GCABC) were supported. The department processed around 850 business and trade requests in 2020. The portfolio of (virtual) activities in 2020 included (but was not limited to) projects supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), private sector businesses, government/federal state agencies, industry associations and authorities in both Germany and Thailand as well as content-driven events in Thailand (see the list below). In 2020 GTCC organised several (virtual) business missions.
