No matter the grade level, students are often finding writing more and more challenging. The struggles range anywhere from not knowing how to brainstorm ideas and thoughts to students not having a firm grasp on conventions (grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc.) Unless you are born with a natural passion for it, writing can be very intimidating and frustrating. In this course, the goal is to take some of that frustration away from the task of writing. In our time together, we will focus on the tools that can help them tackle writing assignments with confidence. The ultimate goal of the course is to help students find a love (or at least a happy tolerance) for writing.
