We bought a company that had already been in business and had a great reputation in 2005. A friend that we knew originally owned it, Ken. He thought we’d be a good fit for the sweeping industry even though both my husband and I were in paramedic school at the time. Plus, we had a new baby, so it was a good opportunity for us to move into a different industry. It was a tough time financially, but we made it through turning the business into our own. HOW MANY EMPLOYEES DO YOU HAVE?

With only one location that’s central in Scott, LA, we only need around 15 employees to run our operation. We also use our girls as well sometimes because they love to pitch in! Now they are 12-years-old and 15-years-old, and they understand how important the business is to our family. HOW DID YOUR BUSINESS DO DURING THE PANDEMIC?

Our reputation is pretty solid around this area, so the new companies find out about us from our current customers for the most part. It’s easy to get references. We do a little advertising on the radio around here about us, and there is a tv commercial that features our daughters. It’s adorable. That’s been able to bring in new customers.
