How to Register On-Line Registration 1. In order to register through On-line registration, you will need a main contact client number, a family PIN number and a credit card. 2. Early registration is encouraged to help prevent camp cancellation. If a camp is cancelled, participants will be notified one week prior to camp start date (unless unforeseen circumstances arise) and offered an alternative choice, if available. If no alternative is available, a full refund or credit will be issued. Refund checks require 2-3 weeks processing time.

CHESS CAMP Ages 5-12 Let Your Children Out Of The House This Summer Break With Chess Wizards! Campers will learn the game of chess with experienced teachers from Chess Wizards At the end of the camp all of the students will participate in a mini chess tournament. Once the tournament is finished, All campers will receive a trophy, a Chess Wizards T-shirt, a chess board and a folder with all of the puzzles that they have completed throughout their camp experience. 5 This three day camp will cover as many aspects of the game as possible including all of the pre-shot fundamentals; grip, aim, stance, posture and basic swing. Chipping, pitching, putting and driver swing instruction will follow. After a week of well rounded instruction they will know how to practice properly and be ready to tackle the golf course in the future.

HORSEMANSHIP CAMP Participants will ride daily; learn Western riding, proper haltering techniques and grooming skills, such as: clipping and braiding, how to bathe a horse, cleaning, and proper care of the tack. The class will end with daily feeding of the horses. Students under 18 must have parent/ guardian sign a liability waiver at first class.

Freestone Recreation Center Kidz Kamp offers a well-rounded summer camp program with a variety of activities for your child to have an opportunity to participate in each week. Each session is 2 weeks long and you have the choice of choosing between the morning or afternoon session or extending the day with our other options. A new “theme� will be introduced each week to keep kids excited and entertained. Check out the following page for camp dates, themes, and activities.

THEME WEEK 1: WINTER WONDERLAND It might be summer in Arizona but we are cooling things off with some winter fun and games. Kids will make their own snowflakes and make ice sculptures. The forecast is showing snow flurries at the end of the week when kids will get to play in a large pile of icy cold snow.

THEME WEEK 2: GREAT OUTDOORS We are taking Kidz Kamp and teaching some good ol’ outdoor survival skills. Kids will learn to pitch a tent, learn camp fire building skills, and even take a “hike” around the Freestone Park. Please note, kids under the age of 12 are not permitted to be in the building without adult supervision; they must be with a parent or guardian or enrolled in a program at that time. ADVANCED BUILDING “SIMPLE & COMPLEX MACHINES” Advanced exploration of complex machines using LEGO™ Educational building systems. This class focuses on advanced building concepts: rack/pinion, transmission, differential gears, and investigate motorized machines. Ages 5-7 Transitioning from kindergarten to first grade can be a daunting experience for many children. In this classroom, children will be encouraged to continue refining their skills in a positive, nurturing environment. Focus will be on reinforcing phonics, reading, writing and math along with incorporating a smidge of science, arts & crafts and sports to encompass a gamut of exciting opportunities. Drop off your pee wee to participate in a gamut of age-appropriate activities such as learning centers, music & movement, arts & crafts, games, cooking and so much more! Kampers will experience socialization, purposeful play and teamwork to improve their cognitive, emotional and physical wellbeing. BE A REAL MOVIE STAR! Created by an experienced Hollywood director, Movie Star Camp速 is for everyone, beginner or expert, who has ever wanted to act in movies. Each participant will develop acting skills and receive a starring role in a family-friendly short film, then walk the red carpet for friends and family at a movie premiere! A DVD copy of the movie, ticket to the premiere, and "Movie Star Camp" T-shirt are also included in the price. Friday is a shooting day, time and location will vary based on course participation. This camp is intended to teach boys and girls the fundamentals of soccer. Ball handling skills such as kicking, passing and shooting will be learned during practice drills and game time. Good sportsmanship and teamwork are encouraged. Participants need to wear tennis shoes and are encouraged to bring their own soccer ball and water bottle. For those looking to apply some focus to their child’s fundamental skills, a number of sport-specific Sportball programs are available. Certified Sportball coaches further develop key skills for a chosen sport. Skills are developed in a confidence-building, non-competitive atmosphere. Coaches for all classes are trained athletes who have a passion for sharing their love of sports. Sportball provides all equipment unless otherwise noted SPORTBALL BASEBALL CAMP Certified Sportball coaches develop competence and confidence teaching the fundamental skills necessary to excel in baseball. Skills include: throwing, catching, correct batting form, running bases, fielding and positional play.
