1 Pack of large strawberries
Prep Time: 10 minutes
1 Pack of light cocoa, bright white, and red candy melts
Total Time: 10 minutes
Valentine sprinkles 1-3 Decorating bags
Cooking Instructions: 1. Wash and dry your strawberries and lay out a piece of parchment paper. 2. In three separate small microwave-safe bowls, melt two cups of each color candy melts on 50% power for about 3 to 4 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until melted. 3. Add about 1/4 of each melted chocolate into separate decorating bags and cut a tiny tip off the end. 4. Dip your strawberries into your melted chocolate cups and place into your parchment paper and let harden for about 15 minutes. 5. Drizzle of your melted chocolate in your decorating bags over your chocolate covered strawberries. 6. Immediately top your chocolate drizzle off with the sprinkles of your choice and let harden for another 5 minutes and enjoy!

I’ve seen the Mayan ruins, Athens, and the Louvre, but my favorite was touring the British Virgin Islands with my family on a 45’ sailboat.
Who is your biggest influencer? Superman and Captain America. They always chose to do what’s right even if it meant sacrificing themselves. That’s the ideal I try to emulate. What is your favorite thing to do in your down time? Kayak with my daughter on Johnson Pond. What’s one thing you couldn’t live without: That’s easy, my daughter. She’s the coolest. Second place in my heart is the Karate School. I love being there and the sense of purpose it gives me.

After studying metalsmithing and jewelry design at RIC she has fully committed herself to developing her business, Botanical Brass. Kathy uses a historic process called roll printing to permanently preserve leaves in brass, copper, and silver. Some of her favorite leaves to harvest are red oaks, chestnut oaks, and even poison ivy! As a self-described nature buff, this is the ideal career for Kathy. She gets to connect with the outdoors while she collects its treasures. After she has her leaves, she carefully dries and presses them until they are ready to be rolled into the selected metal. This process is a beautiful balance of the leaves’ fragile properties mixed with the tough metal and heavy-duty tools.

Titans of Tire Pressure Based in the smallest state in the U.S., Excel Tire Gauge is a big name in the air machine industry. You may not think about tire pressure every day, but when your vehicle’s TPMS light flashes on, it can quickly become a big priority. To account for their growth in sales, they invested in a brand new workspace and hired 12 new team members. The team also redesigned its website and stepped up its marketing efforts. While growth is a major focus for Excel every year, so is giving back. Excel participated in close to 30 charity events in 2019. In October, the team helped fundraise for the Bruce T. Halle Assistance Fund which provides necessities such as shelter, food, and clothing to employees within the Discount Tire family while in transition from a disaster, fire, storm, or injury. The charity also covers medical bills for life-threatening illness or emergency treatment above what insurance covers. With a focus on providing excellent customer service and high-quality products, Excel will hope to continue growing and giving back in 2020 and beyond. With a strong start, she has a growing clientele and continues to work with Amit on business development and marketing. Holistic nursing is a practice that honors relationshipcentered care and the interconnectedness of self, others, nature, and spirituality. With a goal of healing the whole person, it focuses on protecting, promoting and optimizing health and wellness, and incorporates complementary and alternative modalities. Denise’s journey began when she started to explore yoga and Reiki as ways to combat the increasing stress of working in today’s healthcare field. She was so transformed by her experiences that she decided to enter into a holistic professional program and is now a Certified Usui and Shamballa Reiki Master/Teacher. She also loves working

The Arcade Providence 65 Weybosset Street, Providence, Rhode Island The Arcade was built in 1828 and is the nation’s oldest indoor shopping mall in downtown Providence. This historic structure has Greek Revival columns, granite walls and classic facades still standing beautifully after more than 185 years watching over Westminster and Weybosset Streets. Those who worked or lived in Providence at the time spent their days in the open center atrium to enjoy the delicious eateries and shop the small stores. The Arcade was designed by Russell Warren and Tallman & Bucklin in hopes for it to be a space for shopping and gathering inside with skylights for natural light. The design was inspired by many similar buildings found throughout Europe.
At the time of the Arcade’s opening, there were only a few stores on the west side of the building. Most of the shopping was on the east side. The Arcade was slow to attract customers and was known as “Butler’s Folly” for several years because of its distance from the shopping district. All things changed when a high end hat shop opened up, which attracted many wealthy customers to the neighborhood. More and more stores started to develop and it became a major shopping area in Providence. Unfortunately, the Arcade closed in 2008 because not enough retail space was being used. To revamp this old mall it took the commitment from several new stores to take over the empty retail spaces.It reopened ints doors in 2013 and is now used today as a residential and commercial mixeduse building. You can choose to shop at any mall, but you will never experience a mall with this much history and beautiful architecture!
