Virginia T. Rush Vice President The Wyomissing Foundation
Virginia Rush is a lifelong resident of Berks County. After 14 years as a banker, Virginia advanced her career to a Vice President in Private Banking. She spent the next 14 years as a full-time homemaker, community volunteer, and property manager for two rental properties.

Upon the decision to re-enter the workforce in 2013, she was hired as the Executive Director at the Colonial Oaks Foundation through 2015. For the past 7 years, she has worked part-time as Vice President with The Wyomissing Foundation.
The mission of The Wyomissing Foundation is to improve the quality of life in Berks County with the intentional focus of serving as a catalyst for community and economic development through a grassroots taskforce model, and by providing grants to local nonprofit organizations.
Virginia is passionate about her work in the community through The Wyomissing Foundation, along with serving on the RACC Foundation Board, Ready.Set.READ! Board, United Way of Berks County Community Impact Cabinet, Alvernia Cultural Coalition committee, the Harwood Institute Public Innovators Lab, and as a volunteer with local nonprofit organizations over many years.
Virginia and her husband Jeff have been married for 35 years, and she is honored to be the mother of Libby (29) and Neil (26). She is a proud sister to her 9 siblings (6 brothers and 3 sisters).
Virginia enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her 2-yearold puppy, Gus. She treasures being healthy, welcomes meeting new people, and desires to make more time to play golf this year.
