This is K’yshaya’s first Take the Lead and she is loving the experience and spending time with Ms. Dickson. K’yshaya is an 11th grade student at Reading High School where she works with Project Peace and is a student ambassador. She is a member of Troop 12034 and is proud to be working on her Gold Award. After high school, K’yshaya would like to become an ultrasound technician.

Grace is a 9th grade student at Mount Saint Joseph Academy where she is involved with her school newspaper, Glee Club, Mental Health Club, and musical theatre. She is a member of Service Unit 537 as an Individually Registered Member and loves to be an active participant in community service with Girl Scouts. She has earned her Bronze and Silver awards. After high school, Grace would like to go to college and major in Musical Theatre with a minor in Journalism, as well as continue to explore through study abroad programs.

9th Grade

Allison is a 9th grade student at the SpringFord 9th Grade Center, where she is in two of her school’s choirs, in the school musical, and a member of the National Honor Society. She is a member of Troop 71032 and loves the wonderful Girl Scout Community. Allison was an intern at Camp Valley Forge, has earned her Silver Award, and cannot wait to start her Gold Award! Outside of school and Girl Scouts Allison is an athlete, playing recreational volleyball and basketball. After high school, Allison plans to go into education, teaching either elementary or middle school math and science.

Schuylkill Valley High School

11th Grade

Bronwyn is an 11th grade student at Schuylkill Valley High School where she plays soccer and is on the Mock Trial team. She has previously participated in Take the Lead in both the Chorus and as a member of the Color Guard. She is a member of Troop 1677 where she enjoys meeting many different Girl Scouts and making friends through camping. Outside of school and Girl Scouts Bronwyn participates in taekwondo and works at the Reading Science Center. After high school, Bronwyn would like to go to college to pursue a degree in Microbiology and achieve her goal of becoming an astronaut.
