Dear parents, principals, and friends of Girlstart After School: We hope that your Girlstart girl has had a great year of STEM fun with us. Did you know? Your Girlstart girl is participating in a unique program. We’re the largest after school STEM program for girls in the nation. And we are honored to be providing free, weekly STEM education for girls at your school. This year, girls explored earth science and engineering, and explored college majors and careers in STEM. This newsletter shares with you some of our program highlights. One thing that parents wonder is how they can advance their daughter’s education. We want to help! You can check out hands-on activities on our website, or, if you follow us on social media, you’ll get STEM activities delivered right to you. We have worked hard to make Girlstart After School the best, not just the biggest in the nation, and we hope that you can bring home some of Girlstart’s fun by trying out some of our activities with your Girlstart girl. It’s not too early to be thinking about a STEM major at college and a STEM career. You can help your Girlstart girl be ready for STEM at college. Make sure that your Girlstart girl is thinking about math, and how she can take more STEM--especially science and Algebra 1--in middle school. And if you need help, get in touch!

From all of us here at Girlstart!
