This year, Girlstart is thankful for you. Thanks to you, more than 15,000 girls, parents, and teachers have experienced the fun of STEM learning at Girlstart programs this year. Thanks to you, Girlstart After School and Girlstart Summer Camps are better than ever, and reached Because you are central to our programs and our growth, we have focused on sharing the What of Girlstart more girls this year than ever before. And thanks to you, Girlstart is ready to do even more in with you for some time. Sometimes, however, numbers cloud impact, so now I’m focused on sharing the So 2015. What of Girlstart with you.

Girlstart After School is already reaching more than 1,000 girls every week, but in 2015 we will (and an additional 27 programs in 9 other districts!). meet our goal of bringing this program to 50+ schools across Texas. Girlstart Needs You in 2015!

92% know that if they do well in STEM in school, they are more likely to get into college. Girls seeking STEM in college is our second goal. And 97% of Girlstart After School girls want to attend college, even

Girlstart’s annual Girls in STEM Conference is tentatively scheduled for April 11, 2015. though 55% of them would be first generation college students.
