GQA QUALIFICATIONS REACHES
20-YEAR MILESTONE!
CEO of Anglo European and Steel industry expert Paul Sullivan, says high steel and other commodity prices are here to stay and not a temporary blip. For most of us, our exposure to international commodity prices may be characterised by what we pay at the petrol pumps. Sometimes on a weekly basis the ups and downs of the āspot marketā that determines the prices for crude oil and refined petroleum products, manifests itself before our eyes on the posts outside every petrol station. We have become inured to price hikes followed by falls within a period of a few weeks; it is the norm and happens before our eyes. The prices go up, sure but then they tumble down again, although perhaps never as low as they were previously. And that is the broad attitude to the dramatic and frequent increases in the prices of other less public commodities that are affecting every aspect of business operations in the window and door sector.
