U70 FEELING FLUSH WITH KOMMERLING

Essex based U70 are the latest fabricator to introduce Kömmerling’s next generation flush sash window which boats a number of design features and can achieve a U-value of 1.2W/(m2K) with a standard double glazed unit.

There are 20 different colour combinations from stock including smooth grey both sides on a grey base and a further 58 available on a short lead time. The sash profile itself benefits from a 6-chamber design with a 7th pseudo chamber and it also incorporates additional material for the latest welding technologies including Mechweld that’s been adopted by U70 as an upgrade option from the standard welded corners.

Kömmerling’s flush sash was shown to great acclaim at this year’s FIT Show, including the launch of the new concealed mullion harnessed for a traditional cottage (French) window. U70 are looking to offer this additional style of window and any Kömmerling flush sash window in just 3 weeks from order confirmation, with delivery right across the South East.

DAN’S THE MAN FOR FABRICATED SALES AT KÖMMERLING

Dan Wragg is the head of the specialist fabricated sales division at KÖMMERLING for their vertical sliding sash window and for the entire WarmCore range of hybrid window and door systems, all of which can now achieve a U-value of 1.3-1.4 W/(m2K) with a standard doubleglazed unit.

With recent investment in the internal department and with a proven background in specialist products, Dan will be looking to support the current KÖMMERLING and profine customer base with specialist fabricated products. As part of a wider role, he will also look across the group at other technically-led windows and doors that require specialist manufacturing expertise and dedicated capital equipment. CONSERVATORY OUTLET EXPANDS ITS PRODUCT RANGE WITH A NEW EXTREME OFFERING

Conservatory Outlet, a leading UK fabricator, has this week expanded its range UPVC windows and doors by adding Fully Reversible Windows to its signature Extreme collection.

Officially unveiled to its UK-wide network of retailers on 12th July, the windows build on the Extreme collection’s range of options and marks the first of several new product developments that the Wakefield-based company plans to roll out through the rest of 2022.

Michael Giscombe, Conservatory Outlet’s Managing Director, said he was delighted to bring this new product to market. “We identified the need to further enhance our Extreme UPVC collection of windows and doors, and to provide our retailers with a new style of window. “In developing these units, we’ve ensured that they remain easy-to-use practical whilst still delivering on the leading security, style and performance that our Network and their customer expect from the Extreme range.” Each window is fitted with a reversible mechanism that, once activated, allows the glazed panel to rotate through 180°. This makes cleaning and maintenance of the units easier than traditional options. The window has also been tested to meet the requirements of Secured by Design, the police-backed security initiative that provides a recognised standard for security products Just like the rest of the Extreme range, all Fully Reversible Windows will be manufactured at Conservatory Outlet’s factory in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. The launch of this new window has enabled the company to further invest in its workforce through additional training and manufacturing lines. It will also increase the total number of frames made by the manufacturer to around 10,000 per month. To coincide with the launch of the Extreme Fully Reversible Windows, Conservatory Outlet has provided a suite of branded marketing materials across. Literature includes updated brochures, signage and sales guides.
