Welcome Summer is the season to get creative at the Gallery! The Gallery is proud to present Creative Summer, our first summer school workshop program in January 2017. We are bringing back Mic Rees, Julie Paterson and Michael Cusack, three of our most popular and talented artists to present a series of inspiring workshops. Friday afternoons will light up with our new Fibre Fridays, a series of craft and cocktail workshops with local artist Rhiannon Simmonds. These workshops will be a fun way to create, make and meet new people! The summer fun continues with Tuesday Virtual

Intuition Karen Bulgin
Karen Bulgin is an accomplished abstract artist living in Port Macquarie. Bulgin’s process of painting and drawing are a practice of courage and faith in intuition. The play of colour, line and shape has been pursued with various art materials while experiencing many different life circumstances. Bulgin believes that “art can put us in touch with that deep place from which life flows...” and nominates nature as one of her greatest inspirations. Intuition explores Bulgin’s processes of abstraction over a 28 year art career as a painter. Glasshouse Regional Gallery supporting arts within our community.

Cosmographica Beric Henderson
Cosmographica is a unique and personal exploration of man and the cosmos by local artist Beric Henderson. The title of this exhibition was adapted from the Charta cosmographica (1550) and related medieval atlases that were the first attempts to chart the earth and its place in the heavens. This exhibition investigates our place in the cosmos through paintings, highly detailed works on paper, illustrations and unique light box installations. The artworks on display, including two by the artist’s son, graphic designer Julian Henderson, reflect on a range of scientific, spiritual and philosophical concepts. Be
