Jason Wing is a Sydney-based artist who strongly identifies with his Chinese and Aboriginal heritage. Wing began as a street artist and has since expanded his practice to incorporate photomedia, installation and painting. Influenced by his bi-cultural upbringing, Wing explores the ongoing challenges that impact his wider community. Wing will be Artist in Residence from 9 – 20 July 2018. During this time Wing will be working on new work which will form part of his exhibition at the Glasshouse from 13 October to 2 December. This is a great opportunity to meet a contemporary Australian artist and discuss his arts practice. A Glasshouse Regional Gallery developed program connecting artists to the local community.
