T-BALL BASEBALL AGES 4-5

Practices may begin by May 1, 2023 upon the discretion of each volunteer coach. Games begin June 1, 2023. Instruction will continue throughout the program. Please bring a glove. Fees: Residents $45 Non-Residents $55

T-Ball Volunteer Coaches are Needed: If you have an interest in helping kids learn baseball, and can spare a few hours a week, go to www.ZionParkDistrict.com to print a volunteer application. Turn in application by April 29, 2023.

LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL PEANUT – AGES 6-8, MUSTANG – AGES 9-10 BRONCO – AGES 11-12

Little League Baseball is a great experience for boys and girls, ages 6 thru 12. This program is run with a strong emphasis on fun and participation. We want kids to enjoy the game and to be part of the fun that comes with playing baseball. Players will be notified by their coach or the Park District to let them know what team they are on. Practices may begin the week of April 15, 2023. Most teams play 10-12 games. One day training camp Sat., March 25, 2023, at Diamond #3 behind the Leisure Center. In case of inclement weather we will be inside the Sports Arena Gym, 2400 Dowie Memorial Drive. Please bring a glove. Time to be determined.

Little League Volunteer Coaches Are Needed:

All Coaches must complete a volunteer application and be interviewed. Attendance at two coaching clinics, set up by the Zion Park District, is required.

Umpire Information

If you have an interest in umpiring this summer, call the park district at 847-746-5500. Umpires and officials are needed for Little League. Attention: A certified umpire means more pay per game!!!

*Ages are classified as of August 1st of the current year. It is mandatory that you submit a photocopy of your birth certificate when enrolling. No Exceptions!
