Learn the basics of your digital camera while emphasizing manual control techniques for available light. Develop your basic post-production techniques using Adobe Photoshop. This will be a fine art course that will emphasize the making of well-crafted and expressive images. Please bring your own DSLR digital camera and flash drive to class.

Join us to add a pop of color to your wardrobe and create a unique T-shirt with vibrant colors from non-toxic dyes. Using an alternative process photographic technique, your instructor will guide you through creating silhouetted images on T-shirts using objects and designs provided by GoggleWorks.
GoggleWorks will supply a limited amount of objects; please bring your own additional objects to make the design your own. One white T-shirt is included per registration.

Grow your skills as you learn what it takes to turn a tree into a finished piece. Whether spinning wood on a lathe or flattening boards for another construction, you will be amazed at the simplicity and effectiveness of woodworking. Closed-toe shoes are required.

This course focuses on the safe use of power tools, such as the table saw, jointer, planer, bandsaw, hollow-chisel mortiser, and routers. Learn about the properties of wood, how to mill a piece of wood foursquare, the basics of joinery, and then make a hardwood tool box using skills learned in the class.

Cabinetmaking brings the art of woodworking together with the craft of functionality. Learn the basic parts of a cabinet, and how to assemble these into a custom design. Over six-weeks, we will learn about material selection and milling, design and assembly, and end with finishing and installation. At the end of the course, leave with your handmade cabinet and the knowledge to continue building.

WINDOWSILL HERB PLANTER with Ben Richards

Build an attractive, modern planter for your windowsill! You will learn some basic woodworking skills while constructing your box before heading over to GoggleWorks’ Gardens at Lauer’s Park.
