RESTORING ONE OF THE

MOST BEAUTIFUL

BUILDINGS IN NORTHERN IRELAND Thanks to the support of lottery players and the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the restoration and development project in 2020 will see the Grand Opera House’s auditorium restored to its original 1895 splendour and the creation of a permanent exhibition dedicated to telling the fascinating stories that make up the Theatre’s rich and vibrant history. There will also be major upgrades to customer facilities and the Theatre’s technical infrastructure. When its doors re-open in November 2020, a visit to the Grand Opera House will be enriched by: The painstaking restoration of the beautiful paint and plasterwork by expert conservationists New auditorium seating, carpets, curtains and drapes Better access for disabled customers, including more wheelchair spaces, and a state-of-the-art loop system A stunningly reimagined entrance foyer, refurbished bars and public areas, and an increased number of toilets A permanent, interactive exhibition showcasing the Theatre’s remarkable history An elegant new bar in the glass extension overhanging Great Victoria Street

BE PART OF THE FABRIC OF THE THEATRE PARTNERSHIP PACKAGES FROM ÂŁ10,000 PER YEAR Baby Grand Studio sponsorship and naming rights Home to new comedy and drama, the Baby Grand Studio is the beating heart of local talent in Northern Ireland. By purchasing the naming rights to the Studio, you will not only be supporting local actors, directors, playwrights and producers, but also gaining VIP corporate access to shows and a flexible performance/conference/hospitality space (complete with its own bar).

Upper Circle Bar and Stalls Bar sponsorship and naming rights On average, more than 800 customers visit the Grand Opera House for every performance. New Grand Circle Bar sponsorship and naming rights The glamorous new Grand Circle Bar, located in the glass extension overhanging Great Victoria Street, is set to be one of the most popular hospitality venues in Belfast. Naming rights to this stunning bar will give you exclusive use opportunities as well as VIP tickets for shows throughout the year.


HELP US BRING THE MAGIC OF THEATRE TO EVERYONE PARTNERSHIP PACKAGES FROM £8,500 PER YEAR Permanent Exhibition Partner As part of the 2020 restoration, the Grand Opera House will install its first ever permanent exhibition, telling the fascinating stories that make up the Theatre’s history. Containing an archive of memories collected from performers and theatregoers, as well as an interactive learning space, the exhibition will welcome schools, audience members and tourists from Monday to Saturday each week. The Permanent Exhibition Partner will have partial naming rights, an opportunity to tell their own story as part of the exhibition, and exclusive access to the exhibition space for receptions and meetings, as well as VIP tickets for shows throughout the year.

Creative Learning Programme Partner The Theatre’s Creative Learning Programme brings workshops, talks, events and performances to more than 7,500 people each year, focusing particularly on people from communities who engage less often with the arts. Opportunities for partnership range from the annual Family Festival and Summer Youth Productions to school workshops and a diverse programme of accessible events and shows. A Creative Learning partnership can be tailor-made to meet your organisation’s CSR and community engagement goals, while also raising the profile of your brand.
