Items to update Outings In Term 1 we have two outings planned;  Tuesday 21st February all children are invited to come to the Hamilton City Zoo for the morning. The bus will have us back to school by 12pm for children leaving at lunchtime to be collected. The particular aspects of the Zoo we will be talking with the children about are—carnivore/herbivore/omnivore and habitats. A permission slip is attached for this and parent attendance is welcomed.  Thursday 29th March we would like to take children 4½ and older to Rotorua to Paradise Valley Springs. This is a full day and lengthy bus ride so is only suitable for the older children. Primary Submission forms are now available at the sign in desk. (an electronic copy is also attached to this email) If you could complete a submission for support of our plans it will be much appreciated. The form asks you to write just a short statement— even if you are not sure if your child will attend our Primary Class, having the option and choice available has to be an advantage to the community, So the more submissions that are made the better. THANK YOU

Katherine and Stefan then classified the class instruments—string, percussion, wind etc

One of our most used puzzles is “Children of the World”. After completing the puzzle children match the flags for each country to the puzzle.

Family information Please review the information we hold for you—particularly cell phone numbers and emergency contacts. Update any changes on the attached form and return to the office.
