More than 10 years ago the Emerson group embarked on its first golf and leisure development and this year Boavista Golf Club celebrates its 10th Anniversary. The outstanding golf course, its facilities, the clubhouse and staff have been the props with which the membership has flourished. Over these years the rich tapestry of the diversity of the membership has created an atmosphere unique to the western Algarve. Memories are made up of special moments in your life and it is clear that the club membership and its guests have had many such times. Members present and past, and some remembered with fondness, are the backbone to the club. Committee members and volunteers who have freely given their valuable time and efforts have helped build the club to what it is today. The Boavista staff enjoy working alongside the membership, a combination of which will sustain and continually improve the club’s excellent reputation The first 10 years have been a good foundation on which to build a lasting legacy and we look forward to the continued success of the club. 10 th Boav ista Gol f Anniversa ry - 2 0 1 2

charity participation Boavista Golf and its membership from initiation and throughout have been pleased to support and contribute to charities and those in need in the community. With fond memories Boavista was involved with the Sir Henry Cooper/Mike Reid Golf Classic for its last 8 years. Both international and local charities have benefited from the efforts and generosity given to charitable events held at Boavista that include MacMillan in the UK and the local Madrugada, charities for cancer support amongst many others. The membership has also provided personal and direct support to locally disadvantaged children charities by donating much needed supplies. It has and will continue to be rewarding to the membership and Boavista to contribute in a meaningful way to those in need.
thank you Our thanks go to the past and present members, the staff and all those associated with Boavista Golf that have made the club the success it is today.
