The Great Orme Tramway is Britain’s only funicular, or cable-hauled, tramway that travels on public roads. Re-live the experience of travel more than 100 years ago in the lovingly restored original tramcars, each named after a Saint. The unique journey begins at Victoria Station, a short distance from Llandudno’s seaside and pier. The Great Orme ’s dynamic beauty, rich history and natural splendour are well worth the journey.

Llechwedd Slate Cavern - Travel over 500 feet into the belly of Llechwedd’s mountain - on the steepest cable railway in Europe! The deep mine tour begins with a ride on Britain’s steepest passenger railway, for a walk through extraordinary light projection, enhanced reality technology and explosive special effects will transport you to another time and place.

Ffestiniog Railway - Continue on the miners trail with a journey on the Ffestiniog Railway a unique steam hauled narrow gauge railway which travels through the scenic Vale of Ffestiniog, a 13½ mile journey from the slate mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog to the port at Porthmadog. A leisurely trip with every twist and turn bringing a new vista of the Snowdonia National Park.
