The First Alumni Roast was a great success by any standard, raising $65,000 for the ongoing maintenance of St. Aloysius Church. Built in 1859, this historic church requires a great deal of regular upkeep. Most would agree that it remains at the heart of the Gonzaga campus and a true Catholic treasure in Washington, D.C. Many thanks to the Gonzaga Alumni Roast Committee, Roast Committee chairman Tony Interdonato ’66, the Gonzaga Development Office, the Gonzaga Alumni Association and everyone who made this event so successful and memorable. n
