Production Staff Mr. Paul Buckley ‘86 (Producer) is in his 11th year working on this end of the GDA. He is back to being a full-time Producer and loves it. He is very thrilled that Rob is the one who gets to deal with all of the stripped screws now. As always he appreciates the talent and dedication that Allan, Cara and Doc bring. He is amazed that Meghan can do all she does and thanks her for not having the baby until May. He wants to thank all of the kids, the seniors, the underclassmen, the new kids on the block, everyone who makes the GDA such a special group to be a part of. He is privileged to be their leader. And finally, he thanks his wife Monica for being the star of his stage, and for Anthony and Caroline who are always there to greet him when he gets home from the theatre each day. Mike Curtin ‘04 (Asst. Technical Director) is happy to return to the Gonzaga theater to assist a wonderful program. Mike teaches English and performs various other duties as a member of the Alumni Service Corps. Thanks to friends, family, and the Crew. Mrs. Meghan Goldsmith (Producer) is thrilled to be working on her 16th Gonzaga show as a member of the production staff. She would like to thank Paul, Allan, Rob, Cara and Mike for making this her absolute favorite place to work; the cast, crew and band for working so hard to make a fantastic show; the seniors for being wonderful; her family and friends for their constant love and support, and Dan and Baby-to-Be for everything else. Mr. Allan L’Etoile ‘73 (Director) has directed here a long time and really likes working with all the kids. Because he gets to work with them, he is very happy and thinks he has the best job in the world. Ms. Cara Tarone (Choreographer) is excited to be celebrating her third year as choreographer to the Gonzaga musicals. While a fulltime history teacher at Georgetown Visitation, Cara is extremely passionate about continuing to pursue a professional career in dance and choreography. Past choreographed Gonzaga shows include Annie (2007) and West Side Story (2008). Special thanks to Allan, Paul, Meghan and Doc. To the cast, in the famous words of Mr. Allan L’Etoile, “Just do something!” and have FUN out there! Love to Rob and family.
Mr. Robert Theriaque (Technical Director) thanks his crew, especially the managers, Michael, Mariah and Patrick, for their leadership and example. As always, he recognizes the support of his wife Teresa, the light of his life. Dr. John C. Warman ’57 (Musical Director) is back for his sixty-eighth show and third Pajama Game in the Gonzaga Theatre. As a student he appeared in the Mission Variety Shows of 1956 and 1957, and as a faculty member has been involved in the production, direction, and musical direction of Oedipus Rex (1967), two alumni revues (1996 and 2006), and sixty-three productions of fifty different musicals (1968 to the present). He is a teacher of Greek and Latin by day and an organist and choirmaster on weekends. In 1999 he was inducted into the Gonzaga Theatre Hall of Fame as its inaugural member.

Bios Andrew August (Stage Crew) is a sophomore at Gonzaga. This is his second play he’s helped with on stage crew and he thinks pajamas are awesome. :) Joe Boston (Alex), a sophomore, is ecstatic to be in his fourth Gonzaga show. He would like to thank his family for their support, Mr. Buckley and L’Etoile for casting him, and all his peeps for making the show so much fun. Kevin Carty (Stage Crew) is a sophomore supporting his 4th Gonzaga production. He loves everyone on stage crew and wants to have a table in heaven with Da Vinci, Descartes, Lincoln, Gandhi, Lloyd Dobbler, and Tyler Durden. Tommy Chambers (Co-House Manager) is a senior at Gonzaga. This will be his last time as House Manager with his pal Jimmy Williams. Tommy would like to thank the staff and all other kids of the GDA for a wonderful time. After 6 years of dominating the Underground Usher Circuit, Will Clemens (Co-Assistant House Manager) and Denis Leahy got their call to the big show. Their rags to raja epic has inspired millions, and has recently become the focus of Michael Moore’s new miniseries: Denis and Will: A Super Adventure. Kamehameha! Bud Conley (Joe) is a senior in his first performance on the Gonzaga stage. He had the lead in Connelly School of the Holy Child’s The Utter Glory of Morrissey Hall. His interests include snowboarding, hockey and music, and he is planning to attend Fordham (Bronx Campus) in the fall of 2009. Lizzie Connolly (Gigi), appearing in her third GDA show (AMND, MW), is a sophomore at Georgetown Visitation. She would like to thank all of her friends and family, especially her polar bear of a brother. Tigers rule.
Mitchell Curl (Bass) is a senior at Gonzaga College High School. He is pumped to be jamming in his 2nd Gonzaga musical. Outside of the theater, Mitch enjoys window shopping, cooking eggs, marmot catching, bird watching, and listening to Liam McLaughlin pound out African beats. Mitchell’s most rewarding musical accomplishment has probably been composing and performing for the Undetermined Weasels, a highly popular rap/go-go group in the flourishing Gonzaga Music Scene. They currently have about 7 fans. Anthony Dahut, a sophomore, is excited to be in his second GDA production and his first as a member of the cast. He wants to thank stage crew for only calling him a traitor a few thousand times. Abbey Doherty (Mary) is a Visitation junior who loves the GDA with her whole heart. Thank you Mom, Dad, Brynn, Patrick, family and the chaks for everything. And thanks to Mr. L , Mr. B, Meghan and Miss Tarone for making The Pajama Game so wonderful. Enjoy the show! c-pool... loves it! Michael Douglas (Stage Manager) is a junior at Gonzaga working on the stage crew in his sixth play with the GDA. He has previously been on the stage crew in TFP, Annie, AMND, WSS, and TMW. He would like to thank everyone on stage crew for their hard work. Gilly Dreyer (Lisa) is a junior at Georgetown Visitation. This is her first show and she is absolutely loving it! She would like to thank Mr. Buckley, Mr. L’Etoile and Miss Tarone for making all of this possible! Stephen Ernst (Co-Light Manager) is a Gonzaga junior working on his fourth GDA production. He is known for his amazing Mr. L’Etoile impression and his affinity for the number 27. And, to the person in seat L29, Steve is sitting right above you at the light board! Kerry Flanagan (Tessa) is a junior at Stone Ridge and is in her forth GDA production (Annie, MSND, WSS). She would like to thank Mr. L’Etoile, Buckley, Theriaque, Curtin, Schlegel, Ms. Tarone, Meghan, and Doc. She especially thanks her parents, brothers, all the GDA alums and the cast and crew!
Timothy Flynn (Pops) is senior at Gonzaga College High School, and a member of the Gonzaga Drama Association. The Pajama Game is his seventh show. He also appeared in Guys & Dolls, The Front Page, Annie, A Midsummer Nights Dream, West Side Story, and The Miracle Worker. His time in the GDA has been some of the most meaningful and well spent moments of his life. This is Demario Ford’s (Pat) second production and after WSS, he had to do another one. He loves to dance and he’s so grateful to have been cast so that he gets the chance to act, which is another passion that he loves, and entertain people. He’d like to thank his friends, his mom, his grandparents for the support, and his crazy aunt for keeping him on top of his game with the plays. Katy Ford (Brenda) loves her friends, her family and her phone. She’s so excited to be in this show, even though it’s her last at GDA. She’s learned so much from her directors, choreographer and Doc that she will take to Schmish next year. Thank you to everyone who has helped her, especially my masqueraders and Julie for awesome carpool rides. THERE CAN BE MIRACLES, WHEN YOU BELIEVE! Connor Forrester (Kyle/Steam Heat Dancer) is a sophomore and thrilled to be in his fourth show, The Pajama Game, as Kyle. In his previous show The Miracle Worker he played Percy and was also in AMND and West Side Story. Connor would like to thank the fellow members of the GDA, his family including his brother Kyle for showing him the ropes, and God. Anna Gencarelli (Sandra) is ecstatic to be a part of her second GDA production, after playing Kate Keller in The Miracle Worker. Anna would like to thank the cast/crew of The Pajama Game for a great time! Grace Gilday (Rita) cannot believe this is the last time she is to perform on the Gonzaga stage! A senior at Oakcrest School, Grace has performed in 7 musicals (including WSS) and hopes to continue singing at a university level. She thanks her Gilday’s, Ms. Tricia Lepofsky (for getting her into music school), mj.bambam.mrs. pattinson and her oakcrest girls, carpool (as well as adopted member MR), and, most of all, the incredible cast and crew of The Pajama Game. “I had an amazing time, thank you for being such chill, fun, interesting, reckless, sweet, complex people!”
Jonathan Gillis (Sid Sorokin) hopes that you are comfortable in the tiny theater seats. Last year, his legs cramped up while he was watching West Side Story, so he understands your discomfort. Hang in there. Intermission will be here sooner than you expect. Peter “Baby Food” Guerber (Stage Crew) is a junior in his sixth show. When he’s not working on stage crew or creating awkward situations, he likes to write angry letters to the Gerber company demanding that they spell their name right.
Congratulations to the cast and crew of The Pajama Game! Will, here’s our 7 ½ cents: You’re the cat’s pajamas!
Patrick Gunawan (Stage Crew) is a member of the stage crew for The Pajama Game and is on his 2nd show as a junior. He would like say that it has been his pleasure to have contributed to a great production of the musical. Emma Haberman (Mabel) is a junior at Wilson High School and extremely excited to be in her first GDA production. She has been acting her whole life, and was most recently Mother in Ragtime at Wilson. She thanks everyone in the cast and crew for making the show so fun! Emily Hill (Doris) is a sophomore attending Oakcrest School. This is her first Gonzaga production. She previously was in Oakcrest’s production of Phantom Follies, Fairy Dusted, and Alice and Wonderland. She thanks everyone involved in the production!
Love, Mom, Dad, Tom and Henry The new super “may not belong in this town,” but we’re sure glad you’re in this play!
Johnny Kelley Jonathan Gillis & Garrett Johns
Michael Irving (Stage Crew) is a free roaming spirit who happens to help out on the stage crew. This will be the second production he has worked on while attending Gonzaga. Sarah Jenks (Babe) is a sophomore at Archbishop Spalding High School. She is like soooo excited to be in her fourth Gonzaga production (Helen Keller, Jet girl, and Hermia) and has fallen in love with GDA. Garrett Johns (Hines) is a sophomore at Gonzaga. This is his second show with the GDA. In his last performance he was Baby John in West Side Story. In addition to GDA musicals, Garrett also plays jazz piano.
3 Cheers for the 3 Johns!
Love to Nathan L’Etoile From Mom, Dad, the real Matt and Rajneesh
GOOD LUCK to All in The Pajama Game! Fr. Steggert, SJ
Eliot Johnson (Gene/Steam Heat Dancer) is a junior at Gonzaga who is excited to be in his sixth show. He would like to thank his mom brother and sister for all of their patience and support. “Come On Audience Get Hot!” This is Johnny Kelley’s (Prez) second and last performance with the GDA. He has had a blast this entire year and gives a HUGE shout-out to Mr. L’Etoile for his encouragement and friendship. Johnny would love to thank Mom, Dad, Brian, Holly, the rugby guys (he misses you all so much), Lizzy, the Connors, Doms, DP, Costa, Hurley, Chill’D, Carpool, Cwinks, Entourage, and the Cast. MUCH LOVE! Sean Kimiecik (Stage Crew) is a senior at Gonzaga and is helping out with his 3rd production. He hopes you enjoy it! Caroline Lang (Sara) was a tad disappointed this season. After being cast as an Appleseller, ESPERANZA!, and a blind ten year old, she found “Sara”, frankly, a little weak. Luckily for her, Mr. L’Etoile knew what he was doing and, as always, made this cast, this show, and even this character name anything but boring. Thanks go out to her parents, all parents, the cast, the crew, the Star, Ms. Tarone, Mr. Buckley, Doc, Meghan, and even Mr. Theriaque who, as far as she can tell, is always full of smiles and cheer. Joe Lavin (Percussion) is enjoying his last year at Gonzaga, and his second year in the pit band with the GDA. Unfortunately, he couldn’t write a detailed bio for the play bill, due to the fact he only speaks Spanish. When asked to write this, his only words were, “me gusta la bateria.” After 6 years of dominating the Underground Usher Circuit, Denis Leahy (Co-Assistant House Manager) and Will Clemens got their call to the big show. Their rags to raja epic has inspired millions, and has recently become the focus of Michael Moore’s new miniseries: Denis and Will: A Super Adventure. Kamehameha! Nathan L’Etoile (Matt) is in his first year at Gonzaga, but his second play. During Gonzaga’s production of Arsenic and Old Lace, he played the dead body. He is happy to be in The Pajama Game as a “legitimate actor” this time and thanks his father, Mr. L’Etoile, for all the fun he has had with him as a director.
Cecilia Lulli (Cookie) is a sophomore at Oakcrest School. She is so excited to be in her first GDA production. She gives a special thank you to her parents for putting up with her crazy schedule. Liza Manfred (Carmen), a junior at Visitation, is pretty stoked to be in her 5th Gonzaga show. She gives colossal credit to her phenomenal family, her committed carpool (one of the best she’s had in awhile), her frolicsome friends, Microsoft Word’s thesaurus, and the Food Network. Thank you! You all make everything a tad more exciting. Nick Marcou (Leon) plays Leon in The Pajama Game. Leon, though he appears human, is actually a robot from the future sent to prevent strikes at the factory. If you watch closely, you can see him recharging his power cells in some scenes! Kieran McGuigan (Franklin/Steam Heat Dancer) is a junior at Gonzaga and this is his first play with the GDA. Acting has always been a part of his life and has followed his school career closely. He would like to thank everyone (especially grandpop) for helping him with his acting and dancing. He hopes to continue his acting career next year. He apologizes to John, Dee and Gino if he hasn’t done it yet. Liam McLaughlin (Anderson) loves you. Yes, you. He has had a wonderful life and the best four years a 13-18 year old boy could ask for only through the undying love of others. Thank you for everything. Brendan McMahon (Slim) is a junior and glad to be in his third GDA play. He would like to thank his family and friends for coming out to support him and the directors for choosing a great show! He is also glad there is no stage blood involved. Clare Meehan (Gina) is extremely excited for this production of The Pajama Game! She loves performing, especially with the amazing cast and crew of GDA. Clare, a sophomore at Oakcrest, wants you to know how much she loves and appreciates everyone involved with this amazing production. Many thanks and much love to Mom, Dad, Emily, Cecilia, Grace, Grace and Mariah! Carpool will never be the same! I love you!!!
Will Meyerson (Hasler) proudly debuts with GDA. Will is a threetime champion of Gonzaga’s O’Donoghue oratorical contest. As a Blessed Sacrament eighth grader, he played Oliver’s Artful Dodger and won “Funniest Actor” as Twelfth Night’s Malvolio at the Folger Shakespeare Festival. At Shakespeare Camp, Will could be seen in King Lear and Romeo and Juliet at the Washington Shakespeare and Roundhouse theaters, respectively. Brandyn Miller (Stage Crew) is a junior at Gonzaga on his forth play. While under the dictatorship of the great Mr. Theriaque, he has enjoyed preparing for another play. Peace to all seniors especially Hazmat and Mariah. Also, there will be a performance of the ‘Guerber Dance’ after the show. Reed Nagel (Stage Crew) is a sophomore on stage crew. This is his first production with the GDA. Thanks to his friends and family. Johnny Nalls (AJ) is a senior appearing in his second GDA production. He appeared in The Miracle Worker in the fall as double roles, and he was also in AHC’s production of Little Women, in which he played the Father. He is committed to the nationally-ranked Rugby Team for his fourth year now and aims to acquire the team’s 10th consecutive league title. Nothin’ beats rugby. Patrick “Hazmat” Oliverio (Loft Manager) is a senior and has enjoyed working on his 8th play at Gonzaga where the greatest theater productions take place. He is the fourth brother of ten children to attend Gonzaga. He looks forward to studying computer science or criminal justice in college and developing his culinary expertise at home. Patrick thanks his Mom and Dad for their unfailing support, and Katie for her beautiful friendship. Nadia Pinder (Gwynne) is a Visi sophomore and totes def excited about doing her first GDA show! She owes this experience to Reegs (her bus buddy), the JuShu carpool, everyone in GDA, and duh, her family.
Brian Potochney (Stage Crew), a sophomore, is on stage crew in his second production with the GDA and is loving it. He would like to thank his family and friends for being super cool. Elizabeth Regan (Cupcake/Steam Heat Dancer) is a Visitation sophomore. This is her second GDA show; past roles include Sophie in West Side Story. She thanks her family for being the best, and the cast for being her favorite part of every day :) Claire Reynolds’ (Mae/Steam Heat Dancer) heart overflows with absurd amounts of GDA love! From hot-box dancing, to orphan scrubbing and Jet snapping (G&D, Annie, WSS), every moment has been a thrill . Thanks to EVERYONE involved over the past four years for inspiring her, broadening her perspective and filling her life with laughter. Her experience has been priceless. That being said, she would like her 7.5 cent raise asap... Let the tribal dance live on! Charles Rich (Larry), would like to thank all his family and friends for supporting him through hia second show at Gonzaga. “Hey Bud, Lets Party.”
To our daughter, Mariah, We could not possibly be prouder of you or love you more. GDA has been a big part of your life in these high school years and you will carry great memories of it forever. In this your final GDA show, remember that every moment you spend doing something you love, is worth an hour of common life. We know you will again be a part of making it a great show. Love always, Mom and Dad
Congratulations to Pancho and the Cast & Crew of “The Pajama Game!” Love, Mom, Dad & Caitlin
Mariah Rollins (Light Manager): “Dear Stage Crew, you boys are the best any girl could ever be lucky enough to get to hang out with everyday. These past six shows and three years of my life have been defined by this tiny old theater, and I have you guys to thank for all of the amazing memories. I will miss you all beyond any measure, and I am so proud of you!” Pancho Rothwell (Stage Crew), a sophomore, is in stage crew in his third play at Gonzaga. He would like to thank Patrick Armstrong for being awesome and helping him out a little. Nicolas Sabet (Nick) returns to the stage at the prodding of his mom. The Big guy is overjoyed not to be type cast as in previous roles of Big Jules & a Tree. He loves acting but cant wait to join his rugby mates on the field.
Julie Shuster (Poopsie/Steam Heat Dancer), a senior at Georgetown Visitation, is thrilled to be in her fourth Gonzaga show but will be so sad to leave Liza next year. She would like to thank her family, “the girls”, blayze, and my super sweet carpool (especially Liza) for making our trips so entertaining. Most of all she would like to leave her legacy to the adorably witty and charming Liza who wrote her bio. To everyone who will do this again next year, live it up! Will Speros (Stage Crew) is a sophomore at Gonzaga and this is his second production. He would like to thank all his friends on the cast and crew for making this experience all the more fun. He especially wants to thank Mariah for driving him everyday and he is going to miss her so much next year. Peace. Grace Tatlonghari (Janice) is a senior at Oakcrest School. This is her first and, unfortunately, last Gonzaga performance. She has been in the Oakcrest shows since 7th grade. She would like to thank her other half- without you I’m only a square root- her favorite swim Sistas, Mrs. Pattinson, the Oakcrest/Gonzaga directors, most especially her family and God for always being there for her. Thank you for this experience! Griffin Voltmann (Max) is a junior at Gonzaga. This is his third play and first musical there, having previously been cast as James in The Miracle Worker, and the Wall in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He is happy to be working together with such a great group, and looks forward to doing so in future. Joseph Wallace (Charley) is a senior. He has been a part of the GDA since freshman year. This will be his final performance in Gonzaga’s theater. He has loved being a part of the GDA and will miss it next year. He would like to leave you with this final thought, “If a man who cannot count finds a four-leaf clover, is he lucky?” -Stanislaw J. Lec.
Jimmy Williams (Co-House Manager) uses deceptive lighting and quick changes to play every role in this play, while still maintaining his position as Co-House Manager. He aspires to one day meet Morgan Freeman. Jimmy would like to thank Mr. Buckley, Mom, his Co-Ruler Tommy, his minion Will and Will’s CoAssistant House Manager Denis, and all those who have volunteered for ushering for his success. Caroline Winkler (Annie) would like to thank her lovely mum and dad and all her friends for all their love and support. And on this, her last GDA show, she’d like to send a HEY GURL YEAH GURL out to AD, BD, AZ, CF, JK, AG, JB, and GV who were all there from the start. Meridian Witt (Cara) is an award winning playwright, self taught musician, singer and dancer. She is a recipient of Arena Stage’s Youth Playwright Award and her play, “ A whole different story” was performed by the Theater’s Professional ensemble. Anna Zimmerman (Gladys Hotchkiss) is so excited to be back with GDA. She would like to thank Mr. L’Etoile, Ms. Tarone, Doc, Mr. Buckley, and all her amazing friends. GDA has become her second home and she loves you all!!!
