Production Staff Bios Mr. Paul Buckley ‘86 (Producer) is in his 19th year of producing shows for the GDA, and as such has been a part of somewhere between 45 and 50 productions on this acclaimed stage. He thanks Allan, Meghan, Matt and Marika for being really, really, really good at what they do. He thanks the cast and crew for the very few number of fires he had to put out. And he thanks his wife Monica and his three kids for having all of those weekday soccer practices, ballet rehearsals and boy scout meetings so he could duck out early. Enjoy the show. Ms. Marika Countouris (Music Director/Accompanist) is a Senior Musical Theatre major at the Catholic University of America (CUA.) Peter and the Starcatcher is Marika’s fourth production here at GDA having also been the Music Director for Hairspray, Godspell, and Footloose. At CUA, she serves as Music Director in Residence for CenterStage, the studentrun theater company. Marika is in the process of applying to grad school to continue her musical studies. Marika has loved working on this show would like to thank Mrs. Goldsmith, Mr. Buckley and Mr. L’Etoile for all their hard work and of course the cast, crew and musicians for being awesomely talented. Let’s Talk Numbers: Number of Stage Crew members? 14 Stage Crew members old enough to buy spraypaint (18yrs)? 0.9 [Hoff’s birthday is January 18th] Stage Crew members backing Trump if they could vote? 0.49 Stage Crew members in favor of building The Wall (in the back of the set, not in the back of Texas)? 8 Amount Mexico paid for building Stage Crew’s Wall? $0 Amount of the set built from recycled materials? 97% (Only the the palm trees are from new materials; everything else is from previous sets)
Amount of time it took for seniors to design & construct that super-cool crows nest? 1hr 45min Time for Fighting Prawn’s shield to be painted? 6 days (but it looks awesome, right?) Amount of time lighting and sound people were barred from the booth? 3.5 weeks Number of hours Mr. Matthew Duffy (Technical Director) has been away from his darling wife Lizzie because of Stage Crew? [invalid domain]/(+1 hours more than she should tolerate) Chance an Stage Crew member is addressed by the correct name on the first try? 50/50 Awesomeness of Stage Crew members? 100% Mrs. Meghan Goldsmith (Producer) is in her 16th season as a member of the production staff, and is still thrilled beyond measure every day to be part of this incredible family. Memorable shows include Singin’ in the Rain ‘99, 42nd Street ‘02, Guys and Dolls ‘06, West Side Story ‘08, Kiss Me, Kate ‘11 and Fiddler ‘14. Thank you to Paul, Allan, Matt, and Marika for being wonderful colleagues, creators and friends, and congratulations to this group of students, especially to the seniors, on a job very well done. Love and thanks are always in order to her amazing husband Dan, and to Matty and Kate, who are the best kids ever, probably because they’re just chock-full of star-stuff. Lexi, this one’s for you. Mr. Allan L’Etoile ‘73, HoF ‘12 (Director) has been directing shows at Gonzaga since 1997. He loves working with the students in the cast and crew, even the students in house crew, and he finds the work most enjoyable when he sees the kids make something wonderful on the stage for each other and for the audience. He thanks his wife, Marie, for agreeing to let him spend long hours away from home each year taking on this fun work.
With sincerest appreciation to the GDA for the gift of their forever magical, forever young-at-heart stagecraft. *** Our very Best Wishes + Congratulations to all the Peter and the Starcatcher Cast, Tech + House Crews & Directors The Madison Family

Your family and friends have enjoyed watching you perform so many times, and we look forward to another great show! Treasure your last year at Gonzaga. Love, Mom, Dad, Paul ‘17 & Allie
Bios Dela Adedze (Mack), a senior at Gonzaga is excited and honored to be apart of the GDA for the first time! Andrew Allan (Alf) is ecstatic to finally appear as the short, fuzzy, Alien Life Form. Wait, what? Wrong ALF? Oh well. Thanks to Mom, Dad, Mackenzie, Melody, Dollia, The Rock, and Keyonce for being amazing people. Considering that he only bothers to show up for three days a week out of the required five, Aaron Aranza (Asst. Stage Manager) is pleasantly surprised that he somehow still has his side manager position. Apparently, putting Smash Mouth’s “All Star” on the scene shop playlist does wonders for getting people to turn a blind eye...? Aaron hopes that everyone has a blast. Dillon Arrigan (Ted) is very excited to make his GDA debut. He would like to thank Mr. L’Etoile, Mr. Buckley, Ms. Goldsmith, and his parents for this opportunity. Tommy Boyce (Smee) is the twin brother to Paul Boyce, who is also a senior at Gonzaga. This is the sixth show that Paul has seen Tommy in, and he couldn’t be prouder. Last summer Paul placed 14th place in the 50m backstroke at NVSL’s All Star Competition, and he is also a captain of Gonzaga’s Swim Team. Paul would like to dedicate Tommy’s performance to Tommy’s voice teacher, Carol Cramer Drummond, both of their parents, and bootleggers everywhere. Livie Brennan (Ensemble) is so excited to participate in her second GDA production of Peter and the Starcatcher. Although Mr. L’Etoile picks on her every day, she’s enjoyed each minute of this show. Kyle Brown (Ensemble) is so happy to be in Peter and the Star Catcher and credits his success to Ben Gossart, Adele and most importantly America’s Queen, Beyoncé. After the show he will drink some Lemonade. Colin Carmody (Grempkin) would like to welcome you to Peter and the Starcatcher. This is his 5th GDA show. His talents including overscheduling himself. “That’s only one thing-” The second thing is everything else. If you’re not satisfied with that response, hopefully you’ll be satisfied with the show.
Quentin Cooper (Light Crew) is a great guy. Quentin is very excited to be part of Peter and the Starcatcher and cannot wait to see all the work the cast and the stage crew has done. Christopher Cowardin (Prentiss) is in the play Peter and the Starcatcher directed by the all-powerful Mr. L’Etoile and the producer, the all-supreme Mr. Buckley. This would be his first play for the Gonzaga Drama Association and he is very excited and honored to be in this play. It is very funny and he hopes he will be in the future plays. Omar Dibba (Stage Crew) can scramble four eggs in less than 240 seconds. Kevin Dolan (Boy/Peter) is extremely honored to be in his 3rd Gonzaga show, PATS! Prior to PATS, Kevin has performed professionally across the East Coast, specifically at the Bucks County Playhouse, the Baryshnikov Arts Center, and at Penn State Center Stage at Penn State University. Isabella Drag (Ensemble) is so excited to debut in her first Gonzaga performance. She wants to thank her parents and her Grammy for her exceptional snacks. Emma Farren (Ensemble) is so excited to finally be on the Gonzaga stage. She would like to thank caffeine and a word count for keeping this brief. Meghan Farren (Narrator) is leaping into her fourth GDA show with glee, channeling all her senior-year-inspired angst into her riveting role as Narrator #2. She especially hopes you enjoy her now perfected delivery of your favorite quotable moment: “Alf exits.” Barrett Fife (Sánchez/Teacher) - Mackenzie is excited to be playing another Neverland pirate, as well as to be experiencing an identity crisis yet again. She’s still confused as to why there’s singing in a PLAY, but she’s glad to be here anyway. Heather Fitzgerald (Asst. Sound Manager) is very excited to be in her 5th GDA production. In her free time, she enjoys scuba diving, preaching veganism, and forcing tofu down people’s throats. She would like to shout out Tommy Moran and DJ2z for being daily inspirations.
Joseph Fondriest (Stage Crew) is proud to be in his first production, and not so proud of his ability to keep paint off of his pants. This is Patricio Fraga-Errecart’s (Ensemble) first official GDA show, although he also performed in the Gonzaga One Acts of 2016. He’s quite excited for this year’s production. Maddy Giuliani (Stage Crew) would like to clarify that she and Margot are not twins and were in fact born in different millennia. Despite their myriad of differences even larger than their age gap, Maddy is grateful that Margot doesn’t make her metro home. Margot Giuliani (Stage Crew) copied and pasted her bio from last year. Then, she realized she could use more words to talk about herself in the third person, so she had to come up with something else. Ben Gossart (Stache) is thrilled to be playing Captain Stache. He would like to thank his parents, the cast and crew, and Mr. L’Etoile. And most importantly, THANK YOU, SMEE. Dalia Hamilton (Molly Aster) is beyond excited to be playing the lead role in her favorite play of all time. She wants to thank her family for taking her to see this show on Broadway three times and introducing her to the Starcatcher books, her sister for keeping her belief in Peter Pan alive, and Ridley Pearson and Dave Barry for creating this amazing story. Matt Hoffman (Stage Manager) is thrilled to finally institute his dictatorsherrr…tenure- as stage manager during his 8th show with the GDA. He would like to thank all of his fellow crewmembers for all their hard work in putting together the set, lights, and sound for this show. Owen Johnson (Lord Aster) is alarmed at the rate with which his pens are disappearing and suspects Joe. Oh yeah, he also plays Lord Aster.
Isaiah Maddox (Ensemble) is ecstatic about doing his 3rd GDA show, previously in Hairspray and Arsenic and Old Lace. He is passionate about the GDA and watching Trump fail miserably, unless he wins, then he going to Canada. Rylan Madison (Narrator) is a Gonzaga student. He is in this show. Congratulations for coming to this show. Jo Matta (Hawking Clam) is thrilled to be apart of her 2nd GDA show! “To listen well is as powerful a means of communication and influence as to talk well.” - John Marshall, 4th Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Colleen McMahon (Stage Crew) is a proud owner of a goldfish. Her hobbies include wearing shoes, petting dogs, and drinking water. PJ McMahon (Ensemble) is a proud owner of a pink recorder, if found please contact me. Also visit my website pjwithbuildings.weebly.com Andrew Metro (Loft Manager) is thrilled to be back for his fourth show! He seems to have found some sort of an abode here, so he thanks all of his fellow crewmembers for the hard work they’ve put into making it great! Tommy Moran (Sound Manager) is stoked to be head of sound for Peter and the Starcatcher. His hobbies include, eating peanut m&ms, training for the Irish Olympic swim team, and hanging out with his multitude of girlfriends. He is thankful for his favorite person in the whole world, Heather Fitzgerald for always being helpful, supportive, writing this bio, and keeping him entertained. Tommy “Gooseslayer” Nalls (Ensemble) is loving his time in his 3rd GDA show as Greggors and a quasi-musician. He thanks his family for everything and JP and Tommy Boyce for everything else. Please visit PJwithbuildings. weebly.com. Binh Ngo (Ensemble) is making his debut on the stage, hoping to transfer his talents in the soccer field to the program and loving every moment he spent with the GDA. A big shoutout to family, friends, teachers (and a biggest shoutout for Mr. Shea and Mr. Leary.
Annabelle O’Reilly (Stage Crew) is very excited to be a part of her first GDA production. In her free time she cracks bad jokes, practices the art of sleeping, and fangirls over YouTubers. She has done costumes, make up, and building the set for Holy Cross productions in the past. Emily Orem (Mrs. Bumbrake) is excited to be in her third show with the GDA and has enjoyed the chance to break out her British accent. She wants to thank everyone involved in the show, especially Jo for sharing her metro snacks. Bradley Owen (Stage Crew) is senior here at Gonzaga, and he is grateful to have the opportunity to work on his second production. Kristin Peaks (Stage Crew) is very excited to be a part of her first GDA production. In her free time she draws, plays guitar, and attempts to get good grades. She has done costumes, build and paint, and lighting for Holy Cross productions in the past. Peter Rizzo (Ensemble) is 15 years young, a pirate, sailor, door, mollusk, orphan, and a dreamer. Annie Ryan (Ensemble) would like to say that senior year sucks, but GDA does not. Every night, Matthew Seay (Light Manager) wonders how he got this position. Most people would know better. Experience, however, is something he has decent amount of thanks to Wine mom Ryan Stanton. Lights were Matt’s first interest when joining stage crew. Overseen by none in light matters, Matt will greatly enjoy these next few shows. Recently, Matt has come to the knowledge that he has actual responsibility.... terrifying. Don’t forget to stop by the booth and Seay hi! Damon Smith (Ensemble) is making his GDA debut in the fall production of Peter and the Starcatcher. He would like to thank his loving and supportive parents.
Jessica Snowden (Stage Crew) is very excited to be a part of her first GDA production. In her free time she eating, sleeping, procrastinating everything. She has done costumes and build and paint for Holy Cross productions in the past. James Waddell (Asst. Stage Manager): History with stage crew started in the fall of 2013. The long days take a toll on him, but at the End of the Day the set turns out Perfect. But when it’s all said and done, it’s never enough. He truly believes S.Crew is Better than Words and Something great. James Walutes (Stage Crew) is a junior at Gonzaga who volunteers with his dog Faith at nursing homes with People. Animals. Love. (PAL). Andrew Wilkerson (Ensemble) is participating in his fourth GDA show. He previously worked in stage crew for Arsenic and Godspell and performed in the ensemble of Hairspray. He would like to thank his family and friends. Tomas Williamson (Ensemble) is making his GDA debut. He is very excited about performing in Peter and the Starcatcher and is looking forward to more shows! Charlie Workmaster (Captain Scott) is starring in his fifth show at Gonzaga as the poor guy who doesn’t say much in this show because he is bound and gagged. When he is not being held hostage by pirates, Charlie is held hostage by his many adoring fans. Jack Zaremba (Stage Crew) is crew for his first Gonzaga production. He was in the cast of Peter Pan and Aladdin at his middle school, St Peters in Olney MD.
