Last month, my stay in Blue Mountain (Page 32) filled me with joy as I spent quality time with my family. It reminded me that family truly is the heart of the holidays. Now, I’m inspired to dive into baking, planning, and creating more cherished memories together.

Last month, my family and I enjoyed a much-needed weekend getaway with Property Valet at Blue Mountain. It’s not often we all get to be together, so this escape was special. I brought my partner, my daughter, my son and his fiancée, and our lively little grandson, all of us ready for a relaxed weekend without a jam-packed schedule.
The moment we arrived, we knew we’d chosen the right place. Property Valet’s chalet was both luxurious and cozy, providing incredible value with its high-end feel and affordable rates. It was wonderful to find a property that delivered so much comfort, thoughtful design, and detail without straining our budget.
We kicked off the weekend by lighting the fireplace, which immediately created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The spacious kitchen and dining area quickly became our gathering spot, where we organized a big family meal that everyone helped prepare. My grandson, with his wooden spoon in hand, joined in, bringing joy and a bit of “organized chaos” to the kitchen. Sharing that meal, laughing, and chatting made it one of the most treasured moments of our trip.
Each of us also took a turn unwinding in the luxurious bathtub, which was a perfect way to relax and recharge. My daughter, always the explorer, had a full list of local Blue Mountain activities she wanted to try out-from scenic hikes and charming local shops to seasonal events at the mountain. However, most of us preferred to enjoy the chalet’s peace and serenity. The chalet gave us the freedom to take the weekend at our own pace, without any pressure to do more than we wished. Property Valet’s dedication to service made everything effortless. They checked in just enough to ensure we had what we needed but never interrupted our relaxation.
On Saturday, we ventured out to Blue Mountain Village for some family fun. We browsed some delightful local shops, and my grandson was thrilled to bite into a sticky candy apple.
