Chocolate Crinkle Cookies are like brownies in a cookie! These soft-baked treats are a holiday favourite, boasting a sweet, crackled exterior and a rich, fudgy interior. Perfect for Christmas gatherings, Santa's cookie plate, or whenever you're craving something decadent and chocolatey.
Ingredients
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (100g)
1¾ cups granulated sugar (350g)
½ cup vegetable oil (120mL)
4 large eggs, room temperature
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour (240g)
2 teaspoons baking powder
¾ teaspoon salt
1 cup powdered sugar (120g)
Instructions
In a large bowl, mix sugar, cocoa, and oil until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix into the cocoa mixture. Cover and chill for at least 4 hours.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll chilled dough into 1-inch balls, coat in powdered sugar, and place on lined baking sheets. Bake until set.
My grandson and I have a blast creating these easy decadent treats! Be prepared to make a double batch as they are a huge hit at family gatherings and parties.
1 cup creamy or chunky peanut butter
6 Tbsp salted butter softened
2 cup powdered sugar
2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
2 Tbsp vegetable shortening or coconut oil
Instructions
Mix the peanut butter and softened butter together in a mixing bowl. Gradually stir in powdered sugar until fully combined. Cover and place in the fridge for about 15 minutes to firm up.
Using your hands, shape the dough into 1-inch balls. Place the balls on a baking sheet, cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes (this will hold its shape for dipping).
Melt the chocolate chips and oil in microwave in 15 second intervals. Stir and reheat until fully melted.
Using a fork, dip the peanut butter balls one at a time into the melted chocolate. Allow the excess chocolate to fall off.

Preheat oven to 325F. Combine butter, flour, sugar until light and fluffy (about 10-15 minutes). Drop by teaspoon or use icing bag on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Press cherry into cookie and bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly browned. Makes 3 dozen approximately.

I simply love the burst of lemon flavour along with the sweetness of the jam or jelly of your choice. It’s my all time favourite holiday cookie!
Preheat oven to 350F (180C)
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter (room temperature)
1/4 cup sugar
1 well-beaten egg yolk (reserve the whites)
2 teaspoons lemon juice
Zest from one lemon
1 cup sifted flour
Instructions
Cream together sugar and butter
Add egg yolk, lemon juice and zest. Beat well. Add Flour. Combine until well blended.
Shape dough into one-inch balls. Add a slightly beaten egg white in a bowl then dip balls. In another bowl, add about 1/2 cup of finely chopped walnuts. Roll dipped balls into walnuts. Place balls onto a parchment-lined baking tray. Use your thumb to gently indent the center of each cookie.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes. After 5 minutes check to see if the indent is holding. If not, quickly indent the centers a second time.
Remove from oven and fill hot cookies with jam or jelly.

1/4 cup Phlippens OG or Spicy
Mix egg white with spices and Phlippens sauce. Toss all nuts and mix well to cover all nuts. Bake in oven at 325 for 15-20 mins, or until nuts are no longer tacky.
Eat nuts as is or add them to any salad. Your family and friends will go Phlippen Nuts for these!

Meatballs BBQ Sauce
1 lb of lean ground beef
2 Eggs Beaten
1 Cup of Saltine Crackers
crushed
2 Tbsp. onions minced
9 drops of Tabasco sauce
1 tsp Garlic Salt
Put meatballs in casserole dish
3/4 Cup of Ketchup
1/2 Cup of Water
1/4 Cup of Vinegar
1/3 Cup of Brown Sugar
1 tsp of Mustard
1 tsp. Worcestershire
Prepare BBQ Sauce in a medium sized bowl. Add BBQ sauce to meatballs
Bake in 325 degree oven for minutes.
Serve with Rice for dinner or serve alone with other appetizers!
