Alternatively, choose to dine in The Richmond Arms for a truly gastronomic Christmas treat, dining on ingredients sourced from award winning Estate reared meats and cheeses and local producers in dishes celebrating their English heritage with a contemporary twist. Whether it’s just the two of you or a gathering of friends and family all this and more awaits at The Goodwood Hotel this Christmas.



Christmas Eve Arrive at The Goodwood Hotel from 3pm and, having settled into your room, enjoy a decadent afternoon tea of finger sandwiches and open rolls, traditional scones with clotted cream and a tempting selection of cakes whilst festive entertainment FB Pocket Orchestra keep you entertained with jazzy Christmas classics. The evening will witness live music filling the air whilst you enjoy a mouth-watering dinner at a time to suit you; in The Richmond Arm restaurant indulge in a five course tasting menu or in The Goodwood Bar & Grill enjoy a lovely three course meal. For guests wishing to attend Midnight Mass, a coach will depart for nearby Boxgrove Priory at 10.45pm, ensuring a seat for when Mass starts at 11.30pm, with The Richmond Arms bar open for your return.

C h r i s t m a s D ay Awake on Christmas morning, share presents and enjoy a relaxed breakfast before taking a stroll around the Goodwood Estate or enjoying a dip in the pool to work up an appetite for the main event. Enjoy a welcome drink before a three course traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings. In the afternoon, choose to relax with a classic Christmas film from 4pm with a cinema-worthy feast of popcorn, fudge, cheese fondue with homemade bread, hot dogs and Slush Puppies. Complete your day with an informal buffet supper, perhaps a board game or two or simply take the time to spend time together over a drink in front of the fire.

B o x i n g D ay Sleep in on Boxing Day before waking to a leisurely brunch in the Cedar Suite. Your day is free to do exactly as you please so why not enjoy a complimentary guided tour of the State Apartments at Goodwood House, home to the Dukes of Richmond for over 300 years or a refreshing power walk around the Estate. Alternatively, treat yourself to a much-deserved, relaxing treatment at The Waterbeach or unwind with a round of golf on one of our two championship courses. After a leisurely afternoon, enjoy dinner in your respective restaurants before coming together for the Boxing Day Ball taking place in the Cedar Suite. This fabulous black tie evening includes live music which will entertain you long into the night!

S tay t h e n i g h t There are two ways to enjoy Goodwood over the festive period. Which three-night residential package you choose, we are confident you’ll have an unforgettable stay.

The Richmond Arms Dining Package Adult: £675 per adult based on two people sharing a room. Children: (4 – 12 years) £475 per child, per stay based on two children sharing their own room. Children: (4 – 12 years) £350 per child per stay, when sharing with parents or two other children in the same room.

The Goodwood Bar & Grill Dining Package Adult: £550 per adult based on two people sharing a room. Children: (4 – 12 years) £350 per child, per stay based on two children sharing their own room. Children: (4 – 12 years) £225 per child, per stay when sharing with parents or two other children in the same room. Children: (0 – 3 years) stay free when sharing a room with adults or other children. These packages are based on double occupancy in a Signature Twin or King Room. If you wish to treat yourself to an upgrade to one of our Garden or Character rooms or one of our Suites, a supplement will apply. After dinner, come together to celebrate in style with a live band and casino tables in The Goodwood Bar & Grill. Welcome the New Year with fireworks over the Goodwood Estate to mark the end to a perfect evening.
