BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

DRESS CODE No matter which meeting you’re attending at Goodwood, rest assured it will be a stylish affair. We don’t enforce a strict dress code, but ask that visitors respect a few principles so that everyone looks fabulous; smart/casual is the order of the day. Jeans, shorts and fancy dress are not permitted in the Richmond Enclosure. Gentlemen: Linen suits and Panama hats are a Goodwood tradition. In the Richmond Enclosure gentlemen are kindly requested to wear jackets and either a tie, cravat or polo neck sweater. Gentlemen are discouraged from wearing shorts and sleeveless tops within the Gordon Enclosure. Ladies: Due to the terrain and use of decking, high heels are not recommended. UPGRADES Your ticket will be for a specific Enclosure, and at Goodwood there are three: Richmond, Gordon and Lennox. Should you wish to upgrade to another Enclosure you may, however during Glorious Goodwood the Richmond Enclosure is only open to Members. There are upgrade points in the Gordon and Lennox Enclosures; simply pay the difference in price and if you’re heading into the Richmond Enclosure, remember the dress code. ADMISSION Entry to the racecourse is by general admission ticket only. Subject to availability it may be possible to purchase a ticket on the gate. There are discounts when you book online for all non-Festival meetings at www.goodwood.com/horseracing. Richmond Enclosure racegoers should attach their swing badge somewhere clearly visible in order to help gate staff identify them easily. TICKETS Should you misplace your ticket before the day, please give the Ticket Office a call on 01243 755055. Tickets are non-refundable and are not for resale.
