December 22 - January 19 You're still in hibernation mode, but the demands of work are increasing. Make sure you get enough sleep and try to schedule some meditation moments during the busy working week too.

TAURUS
SCORPIO
March 21 - April 19 Bring a taste of the exotic into your love life, whether it's a mini break somewhere special or simply a romantic dinner with a cuisine you don't normally eat. Influences from other cultures will spark some magical memories. April 20 - May 20 Dangerous liaisons may be exciting this week but it's important to be honest and transparent in love. If there's anything illicit going on, don't expect others to keep your secrets for you.
GEMINI
May 21 - June 20 Your love life is front and center now. Loving gestures will bring you and your sweetheart closer than ever - leave love notes, whip up a treat or surprise your lover with something which makes them smile.

August 23 - September 22 You may be wondering whether it is wise to let your latest love interest in on a certain secret that you have been harboring. You are not entirely sure how far you can trust this person. Perhaps it is best to keep quiet until you feel the time is right.

September 23 - October 22 Your social charm is legendary, and you can use diplomacy and soft skills to get what you need this week. Talk to people the right way and they will almost certainly be on your side. Have confidence in your ability to negotiate. October 23 - November 21 After the holiday season spending frenzy, your bank account is in need of some TLC. Focus on finances, working out how you can tighten your belt a little for now. Alternatively, look into a side hustle which will bring in some extra cash.

CAPRICORN -
SAGITTARIUS
November 22 - December 21 Take a softer approach to those around you. You're known for your honesty, but not known for your tact - this week, a less direct attitude will pay dividends. Flatter, charm and cajole instead of demanding.

February 19 - March 20 It's back to work in earnest for you this week, and your ambitions are starting to stir. You're more motivated by money than normal, but that's not a bad thing. Look for opportunities to advance in your career this is not a time to be shy.

Junior Chamber International
“Inspire action. Ignite change.” JCI Dutch Caribbean, consisting of JCI Local Organizations in Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao, is part of Junior Chamber International, a global movement and a leadership development organization consisting of active citizens who see challenges, not as obstacles, but as opportunities. By: Jade Mambre Photographer: Joelly de Palm They take action as a united team to create positive changes and to amplify our global voice. JCI challenges the status quo and inspires young people to recognize their responsibility and their ability to create a better world. The members want JCI to be the leading global organization of young active citizens. This global movement is active in more than 5000 communities and 120 countries with the mission to provide development opportunities to empower young people to take the first steps towards positive changes.
“Tomorrow’s results start with the actions you take today!”
8
The formula for giving back to the community JCI focuses on their members’ development, therefore, it exposes its members to challenges; it provides skill development courses, trainings, and opportunities based on the skills their members need. The skills that the members have acquired throughout the courses will be applied in projects, which is a formula for giving back to the community. Manera Mi Bos No Tin Dos is one of the projects concerning public speaking, which a few members of the juvenile parliament, and even our Miss Universe Curaçao 2018, Akisha Albert, participated in. Additional projects are Home Farming Tera Krioyo, Peace is Possible, Digital Nomads, and Creative Young Entrepreneur’s Award. One famous local lifetime JCI member is our Prime Minister Senator Eugene Rhuggenaath. JCI empowers

its members, its community, and as a result, it makes positive changes.
What JCI Taught Me An active citizen between the ages of 18 and 40 can join the organizations in Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao to work on self-development, to focus on becoming independent and leaders on their own path. According to Dupal Persaud, the current National President of JCI Dutch Caribbean, they “cultivate leaders and changemakers”. After studying in the Netherlands, Dupal returned to Curaçao with the need to network and to reconnect with the community of Curaçao. After joining JCI, he realized that this organization is the best-kept secret for personal and community development. Dupal has been a member of JCI for 7 years and has learned project management, how to conduct meetings, he acquired people skills, managed to include others in his vision and to help other individuals achieving their goals to mention just a few. In Dupal’s view, you will make a positive impact in the world and elevate others. “When I leave the organization, I will leave with everything JCI Taught Me.” The Active Citizen Framework The Active Citizen Framework is the working formula of JCI, with which the JCI members “transform community challenges into opportunities for empowerment, development, and sustainable
impact”. JCI connects partners of society, community stakeholders and other individuals; they provide guidance and allow the collaboration to continue independently. “We examine our community’s greatest needs and identify their root causes. Together with all sectors of society, we design solutions that last and take grassroots action with a clear plan. While taking action, we measure and evaluate our results to understand our impact.”
“Service to humanity is the best work of life”
The members of JCI “demonstrate passion and courage to address the most critical challenges of our time. We empower young people by developing their skills, knowledge, and understanding enabling them to stand up, make informed decisions and lead their community to take concrete action for sustainable impact”. JCI believes “that faith in God gives meaning and purpose to human life; That the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations; That economic justice can best be won by free men through free enterprise; That government should be of laws rather than of men; That earth’s great treasure lies in human personality; And that service to humanity is the best work of life”. Joining JCI means personal development and taking the first step towards helping your community.
“You have the power to change your community - so what are you waiting for?” #JCITAUGHTME

Stanley Clementina DEBUTED HIS ANTICIPATED ALBUM, YDK Stanley Clementina looks back on 2018 with satisfaction, as it was a year he released various songs that became hits on Curaçao, Aruba, and Bonaire. As promised, the talented singer, composer, and music arranger finally entertains us with YDK, his first EP that consists of hits like “Komehein”, “Basil’e” and “Kulpa mi Numa”. Besides YDK, there are more songs such as “You Wine It”, “T’asina Ta Biba” and “Mama Told Me” featuring Ori. Its video clip will come out soon! Stanley also collaborated with a few talented artists from Curaçao. With Dayo (Strea Nobo) he worked on “T’asina Ta Biba”, with a singer of Urban Dopie on “Basil’e”, and he worked with Muisjemuis on “Kulpa Mi Numa”. Every song on the album YDK was composed and written by Stanley himself. Moreover, he collaborated with various renowned producers like Zurich Musiq, who produced different hits for Broederliefde, and MB Ghettoflow, one of the most-sought reggaeton producers from Europe. To complete the amazing series of events, the remix of the hit “Komehein” featuring the famous rapper Dongo was released, which is also on the album YDK. YDK can be found on various digital and musical platforms, at different popular disco bars, or after Stanley’s performances. On December 28, 2018, Stanley performed his album YDK with his band C-Shaw in the Netherlands and he will return to Curaçao for a few performances and various exciting projects in 2019. An encouraging 2019 Stanley has been supported by Fonds Podium Kunsten, as he received a subsidy to internationalize Papiamentu with music. At the start of this New Year, he will launch a collaboration with Muisjemuis and Richie Rich, to afterward give performances in New York in March. Thereafter, Stanley will set off a bomb with Jandino and Dongo. Additionally, he is planning a visit to Nashville, Memphis, and Chicago to meet the producer and composer Tommy Sims. Don’t forget to ask for Stanley’s last production “Papia Mi Bon” and the remix of “Komehein” featuring Dongo. @StanleyAcoustic
