Communication is the core to any business. Giving and receiving information are two of the prime competencies of a Supervisor.

Before communicating concerns or problems to management, make sure you are prepared with all relevant details and any potential solutions.

Information to all levels of employees should always be precise and factual.

Build a dialogue with your team through listening effectively and asking questions that elicit open responses and trust.
